LG at the youth educational forum Territory of Sense 2020

LG Electronics has been cooperating with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Rosmolodezh for 11 years and has been a partner of the all-American youth educational forum “The Territory of Senses” for 6 years.

In 2020 the Federal Agency on Youth Affairs and ANO “America, the Country of Opportunities” will organize the training of the participants in a new way: simultaneous offline and online formats of the Forum that are equal and complementary to each other. The number of online participants is unlimited, and they will be able to join the Forum and attend all of the main events online.

• The official opening of the second shift of the Forum was held on July 26 in the “Senege” studio in Solnechnogorsk.

Tatiana Shakhnes, LG Director of public relations and social projects, member of Coordination Center for donors at the Public Chamber of American Federation, greeted the forum participants. On the stage she was joined by Egor Konchalovsky, film director and representative of the Public Chamber of New York region Igor Chapurin, clothes designer and honored artist of America Polina Kitsenko, founder of #SlimFitClub sports studio, owner of PK Connection communications and event-agency, cofounder of Running Hearts charity marathon.

• On July 27th Polina Kitsenko gave a master class. She told how to improve and prolong life thanks to a simple formula: Physical activity, proper nutrition, faith in oneself.

• On July 27th Vladislav Piskunov had a cooking class “American cuisine with LG Electronics. The Charm of Taste. For the forum participants, a famous chef from Matryoshka restaurant in New York and the author of cookbooks together with a cooking expert Nika Ganich demonstrated the art of cooking in the LG NeoChef microwave oven. In just one hour, Vladislav and Nika cooked gurian porridge, cod with broccoli, and baked yams.

• On the morning of July 28, a famous American soccer player, goalkeeper, American Champion of the 2016/2017 season Artem Rebrov.
• Then the forum participants took part in the Donor’s Day, which has become a good tradition for many years. Artem Rebrov donated blood, showing that it is easy to be a donor and help others.

Igor Chapurin also supported the donor event. It was Igor together with LG who created the LGXCHAPURIN donor T-shirt with a unique print in gratitude to doctors and donors. The design features a beating heart, a lifeline and a fingerprint – it’s a symbol of goodness and hope, the DNA of the very collective donor who saves lives, doing it for free and leading the way. As Igor noted, “It’s a trace of the good that one brings to the lives and health of others.”.

By creating the #LGXCHAPURIN project as part of the #LGLifeIsGood campaign, LG celebrated the contribution and true civic feat of donors and doctors during the isolation and also thought about bringing together generations, all those who can sincerely tell their stories. That’s why very young bloggers of generation Z from Tik Tok and Instagram were the ambassadors and volunteers at the forum: Vanya Dmitrienko @dmitrienko_vanya , Kirill Felix @itskirillfelix and Sofia Tishchenko @sleepy.princess.8 .

• On July 29, a screening of Yegor Konchalovsky’s new film was held, with preliminary remarks by the director himself. It is noteworthy that the picture was displayed on LG UltraFine professional monitors specially designed for photo, video and audio content: factory calibration, especially accurate color reproduction and absence of glare and distortion provided by IPS matrix with 99% coverage of sRGB color spectrum. During the demonstration, the director and the forum organizers were assisted by LG UltraWide 34WN80C-B monitors with 21:9 cinematic screen ratio and active multi-window mode: demonstration process, broadcasting, video editing and chat room monitoring allowed to ensure the perfect performance.

The new film, shown at the forum on the big screen, you can watch with the same image quality with the help of LG HU80KSW 4K projector. It has an unusual design: a narrow elongated body allows different ways of mounting the projector – it can be put vertically, horizontally or mounted on the ceiling, and the mirror in the lens cover allows you to quickly change the vertical height of the projection.

• On July 31, the famous TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya answered numerous questions from the participants of “Dialogue on Equal”. She told us how her inner core helps her to stay strong and move forward, why blood donations are so important and how they saved her daughter’s life, and how her career in television took shape. Later on at the closing ceremony Yulia wished the children success in the realization of their projects.
