Kingston unveiled new SSDs and other devices at CES 2018

Kingston Digital, Inc., Flash memory product division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the world’s leading independent storage device manufacturer, unveiled its new products at CES®. The company showed attendees the capabilities of its new solid-state drives, encrypted flash drives, and portable and embedded solutions for the consumer segment.

DCP1000 SSD drive

Kingston demonstrated at its booth:

– Nucleum’s 7-in-1 USB-C hub to help new MacBook owners increase the number of ports available, including USB-C. Nucleum will join Kingston’s line of mobile devices, which already includes the Bolt, a USB drive for iPhone and iPad that lets you comfortably transfer and save files by connecting directly to mobile devices.

– DCU1000 PCIe NVMe U multidrive SSD.2 in a single-unit, 10-bay server demonstrated the highest performance and scalability of storage for U form factor servers.2 formats, which will become widespread on the global market this year. 40 SSDs physically connected to the 10 bay demo

– The DCU1000 and DCP1000 are NVMe SSDs that will be used for real-time image processing in 8K RED Raw and 16-bit 4K EXR.

– New line of SATA UV500 SSDs 2.5′, M.2 and mSATA with 3D NAND memory and TCG Opal support.

– Low-cost NVMe SSDs M.2 PCIe A1000, on the example of which Kingston showed the advantages of PCIe devices over standard SATA-connected drives.

– Various embedded solutions for the consumer segment.

– The entire line of encrypted USB drives developed by Kingston and IronKey™, purchased by Kingston in 2016.
