HUAWEI presented HUAWEI P30 and HUAWEI P30 Pro at the presentation in Paris. HUAWEI P30 series has become the company’s new flagship camera phones, able to compete with professional cameras thanks to HUAWEI’s innovative spectral sensor, superzoom lenses, new TOF camera Time of Flight and OIS and AIS image stabilization technologies.
Richard Yu, President of HUAWEI Consumer BG: “HUAWEI P30 series smartphones represent a real breakthrough in mobile photography, which is the result of a long process of improving mobile camera technology. Innovations such as the spectral sensor and superzoom lenses have allowed us to seriously advance not only in photography, but also in video recording. Series HUAWEI P30 sets its own rules for several new generations of smartphones “.
Realistic photography of professional level
HUAWEI P30 series smartphones change the idea of mobile photography. HUAWEI P30 Pro achieved the record high DxOMark rating – 112 points. It has a new Leica system with four cameras, including a 40 MP main camera with HUAWEI spectral sensor, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8 MP telephoto lens, and a TOF camera. New smartphones are equipped with 32 MP front camera for selfies.
1/1.HUAWEI 7-inch spectral sensor registers light in a completely new way. The RYYB sensor color filter differs from the traditional RGGB filter in that it replaces green pixels with yellow pixels, extending the ISO range upwards to 204,800 and 409,600 for the HUAWEI P30 and HUAWEI P30 Pro, respectively. Thanks to this fundamental change in sensor technology, combined with the high-aperture camera lenses f/1.6 and HUAWEI AIS+ OIS stabilization system HUAWEI P30 Pro offers new opportunities for mobile photography and videography in a wide range of shooting scenarios and lighting conditions.
Superzoom lenses thanks to their periscopic construction deliver a quality 5x optical zoom. The sensor also features a hybrid 10x zoom and a 50x digital zoom. The prismatic optical element in the telephoto camera deflects light by 90 degrees and provides maximum focal length while keeping the smartphone body slim.
The flagship HUAWEI P30 Pro features a TOF camera, which detects the depth of field and allows the image to be neatly separated into individual elements. Precise measurement of the distance to the subject allows you to simulate several levels of bokeh – from completely clear backgrounds to creamy Leica-style bokeh that allows you to highlight your subject in any scene.
HUAWEI AI HDR+ function allows front and main cameras to combine a series of shots into one final shot with the desired exposure – without overexposure or deep shadows. Portrait mode can capture even the smallest details, such as fine strands of hair around the model’s face. This mode uses depth-of-field information and proprietary algorithms to capture images with blurry backgrounds and highly detailed faces and figures.
Rethinking mobile videography
With a wide range of video features, HUAWEI P30 series is ready to enter a new era of studio-grade videography. Spectral sensor HUAWEI allows you to shoot video in conditions of extremely low light to get the clearest video. HUAWEI AIS and OIS technologies now support video stabilization, and superzoom lenses provide high-definition close-ups. Artificial Intelligence video editor offers the user tools to add background music and special effects.
HUAWEI P30 series devices allow the simultaneous use of two main cameras to record different video variations using HUAWEI Dual-View technology. In this mode, you can shoot both general scenes with an ultra-wide-angle camera and close-ups with a telephoto lens.
Progressive design
HUAWEI P30 with a screen diagonal of 6.1 inches and 6.The 47-inch HUAWEI P30 Pro will be available in black and white, as well as three gradient color options – amber red Amber Sunrise , light blue Breathing Crystal and northern lights Aurora . Smartphone bodies have a 9-layer nano-optical coating.
The FHD+ resolution 2340×1080 pixels screen has a monolithic surface with slight curvature Dewdrop , maximum body surface coverage and symmetrical design. A fingerprint sensor is built under the glass for fast and reliable identification of the owner. HUAWEI P30 Pro also uses HUAWEI Acoustic Display technology with a speaker built under the screen.
Maximum functionality
P30 and P30 Pro models also have a number of advanced features that provide competitive advantages in power, performance and efficiency:
– P30 series has high performance and energy efficiency due to the use of HUAWEI Kirin 980 processor. It is made by 7nm technology and thanks to the dual neuromodule it supports fast image recognition.
– HUAWEI P30 series smartphones run EMUI 9.1, which now uses a special expandable file system EROFS that greatly improves the speed of reading data from the drive. The new OS also uses HUAWEI Share OneHop technology for fast data exchange between HUAWEI smartphones and PCs.
– The HUAWEI P30 Pro features a 4,200mAh capacity battery and 40W Super charge fast charging, which allows you to charge your device by 70% in just 30 minutes. So the smartphone can last longer than a full day, even with heavy use.
– Optimal heat distribution and cooling efficiency in HUAWEI P series smartphones is ensured by an innovative cooling system.
– Both models have advanced wireless connectivity, including Dual SIM and Dual VoLTE2 support.
