Fujifilm released new firmware for four cameras

Fujifilm has released new firmware versions for X-Pro2, X-T2, X-H1 and GFX50S. New firmware improves overall camera stability and fixes a number of bugs that previously existed.

Photo equipment

Flash Version 1.11 for Fujifilm X-H1. Major changes:

1.Fixed “WRITE ERROR” error that could occur on rare occasions during continuous shooting with copy settings to a second memory card or shooting in RAW/JPEG mode when capturing photos.

2.Fixed a bug where menu settings could reset on rare occasions after the battery was removed from the camera.

Firmware version 5.00 for the Fujifilm X-Pro2. Main changes:

1. Added ability to resize and adjust information indicators in viewfinder and/or LCD display.

2. Improved phase autofocus performance. The latest updates to the autofocus algorithm provide the following performance improvements:

– The lower luminance threshold for phase detection AF has been improved by about 1.5 stops, from 0.5 EV to -1.0 EV, resulting in more accurate and fast AF in low light conditions.

– The minimum aperture range was expanded from F8 to F11. For example, even with the XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with teleconverter XF2X TC WR can now use phase auto focus.

– Major improvements have been made for AF-C continuous focus mode when working with the zoom, offering great advantages in sports shooting and other scenarios in which subjects move unpredictably.

– Improvements in phase auto-focus ensure that fine texture detail on feathers of wild birds and fur of wild animals can now be recognized with speed and accuracy.

3. Added “Flicker Reduction” function.

5. Improved performance with FUJIFILM X Acquire.

Firmware Version 4.20 for Fujifilm X-T2. Major changes:

Adding “Folder Selection” and “Create Folder”

Allows users to select the folder in which subsequent photos will be saved. You can also enter a five digit folder name to create a new folder for saving subsequent images.

Firmware version 3.20 for the Fujifilm GFX50S. Main changes:
