Functionality

After pressing the necessary button on a remote control, in case of activation of an auto mode, the device starts to adjust a mode by itself, taking into consideration indications of air temperature. The set target temperature is 23 degrees.

To quickly create a comfortable microclimate in the room, there is a function Turbo: the device starts to work with maximum performance, quickly cooling or heating the air in the house.

With Sleep mode in the room it creates optimal comfort conditions for falling asleep and resting at night. When operating in cooling mode, the air conditioner first lowers the temperature to the chosen value and then increases it by two degrees during two hours. It allows to avoid overcooling during sleep and not to catch a cold. During heating work the air temperature is lowered gradually by two degrees during the first two hours of operation of air conditioner that allows you to fall asleep in the warm and not to feel stuffiness at night.

Control

Stylish and functional remote control has a convenient layout of keys and somewhat reminiscent of a cell phone. Its main feature – the presence of backlight. To keep the bright display of the indoor unit from interfering at night, it can be turned off with a separate button.

Adjustment of the horizontal shutter position is realized in a rather unusual way. The Electrolux Monaco Super DC Inverter has 10 different settings. Namely: five fixed positions, constant louver swinging mode, arbitrary tilt angle of the sash, and three constant louver swinging options within a certain angle . After turning off the air conditioner and turning it on again, the louver will be set in the same position as it was set during the previous operation. This is possible thanks to the louver position memory function.

For those who have small children at home, the key lock function on the remote control is also useful.

Another handy feature is IFeel function which makes it possible to redirect temperature sensor operation from indoor unit of split-system to control panel. Due to this conditioner can keep required temperature exactly at that place where control panel is located without changing at the same time the direction of air stream. This is particularly useful if you want to create a comfortable temperature in a certain area of the room, such as a bed or a TV chair.

The models of the Electrolux Monaco Super DC Inverter series have the X-FAN evaporator purge function: when the unit is turned off, you can easily rid the inside of the split system of moisture by simply activating this mode. Appliance automatically switches from cooling to heating mode, so the evaporator surface will be dry in minutes. This function prevents the growth of mold fungi and microorganisms, and avoid unpleasant odor that appears when you turn on again.

The outdoor unit of air conditioner has compressor sound insulation to increase comfort.
