Today I would like to tell you about a budget model of in-ear headphones, made on the basis of one armature driver from Chinese brand Dunu DN-13. I have long wanted to get acquainted with the products of this company, but previously my ears with these ears somehow did not cross. And now, thanks to the mycroft store.su, an opportunity presented itself to me.

Appearance and Package
The headphones come in a nice black cardboard box with a picture of the headphones themselves and the model name. Inside is a chest in which you can find the headphones, two cases, one brown with ties, the other black, varnished with zipper stitching, like my grandmotherâs purse. Also included are six pairs of silicone tips and a clothespin for attaching the cable to clothes. All in all, everything is beautiful. The set is very decent â both externally and internally.
The headphones look quite attractive. Material is titanium. The chrome-plated metal looks good. The right earpiece is encircled by a red ring, the left by a blue ring, you canât tell the difference. In general, everything is clearly made. They look pretty reliable and high quality. The fit is also quite comfortable.
Cable rubberized, black, with aluminum splitter and 3.5mm jack.
The cable also has a special strap that serves to fix the wire in a folded state. In general, here too, everything is decent.
Sound
The sound sources were: Hidizs ap100MM, Hifiman HM-601 and stationary MyST DAC 1866OCU V.2.
The sound of the DN-13 Crius can be characterized as neutral. The sound is tight, high quality, without distortion and hum, with pretty good resolution and good handling of the attacks. I didnât even expect such a sound.
The treble is not flashy with resolution, but itâs clear and unobtrusive. No excessive brightness or sibilance in this frequency range. Here and there they could be added, they are very restrained and crude in some moments, but here everything is for a taste. For my taste, their quantity and quality is on par.
Middle frequencies are smooth with good resolution, a little bit smoother. No synthetic, which is very nice. The pitch is warm and natural. What is missing? Hmm, well, perhaps the tiniest of nuances. But this is when comparing with the premium class, and in its price category everything is very decent.
Bass â doesnât cut into the rest of the range, doesnât buzz, and doesnât feel any lack of bass. The bass isnât blurry, tight, doesnât rumble, but it has a decent weight. It has enough and to my taste it is quite good quality.
In general, the sound of DN-13 combines the warmth of the dynamic model, and the power of the armature driver.
Conclusion
Very good ears. Can you find a better one?? Yes you can, but itâs much more expensive. I wish, of course, that there was more detail and more refinement in the sound, but these thoughts only come to mind when comparing it to premium headphones. And so, itâs a must-have!
Sound, price, package, design.
