The 21:9 Gaming monitor with AMD FreeSync technology

The LG 34UM67 monitor is the company’s first 21:9 gaming monitor, specifically designed for games with high graphics requirements. AMD’s FreeSync technology eliminates tearing that occurs when the monitor and graphics card are out of sync. FreeSync technology provides a smoother, more fluid gaming experience.

“AMD’s FreeSync technology is an innovative monitor technology based on free and open industry standards. It’s designed to eliminate the tearing and jerking visuals that have plagued PC gaming for 30 years,” said Roy Taylor, corporate vice president of ISV/IHV Partner Group, a division of AMD. “We’re delighted to have LG Electronics helping us out by offering truly immersive monitors with built-in AMD FreeSync support, such as the LG 34UM67 ultra-wide gaming monitor.”.

The ultra-wide gaming monitor also provides an incredibly wide viewing angle, giving gamers the added advantage of being able to detect areas that were previously invisible on conventional 16:9 monitors. The Black Stabilizer feature illuminates dark areas and helps you see clearly the darkened areas where various objects and enemies may be hiding. Dynamic Action Sync mode minimizes input lag, making gaming a true “real-time” experience. Many popular games such as Battlefield 4, World Of Warcraft, and ArcheAge already support the 21:9 format. There will be more and more of these games in the future.

The LG 21:9 gaming monitor with AMD FreeSync support should be compatible with other gaming consoles as well, not just limited to PC gaming. AMD FreeSync technology is more widely supported across different platforms, allowing for a smoother and tear-free gaming experience. However, it is always recommended to check the specifications and compatibility of the monitor with the specific gaming console you plan to use to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
