Asus introduces the Transformer Book Trio, an original mobile computer made up of two components docking station and detachable display that operate in three modes notebook, tablet and desktop . The Transformer Book Trio is a flexible solution for all users who want to go beyond the limitations of standard mobile devices.
Two processors and two operating systems
The Asus Transformer Book Trio has a sleek metallic design and dual-processor design, so it’s surprisingly lightweight, yet lightweight. In laptop mode, it uses a high-performance fourth-generation Intel Core processor and Windows 8 operating system, while in tablet mode it uses a dual-core Intel Atom processor and Android operating system.
When docked, the Transformer Book Trio lets you switch between Windows 8 and Android 4 instantly.2 by pressing the dedicated “Trio” button. Asus Transformer Book Trio uses the built-in memory in the display to transfer data between operating systems. The Transformer Book Trio docking station is a full Windows 8 PC, so you only need to connect an external display via mini-DisplayPort or micro-HDMI to use it.
Full HD multi-touch display and SonicMaster audio technology
Asus Transformer Book Trio boasts a 11.6-inch full-HD IPS display with excellent color reproduction and wide viewing angles 178° . Its touch interface is comfortable and intuitive to use with both Windows 8 and Android apps, and features an ergonomic backlit keyboard and multi-touch touchpad to keep you productive. The Transformer Book Trio has a full-featured stereo speaker with SonicMaster technology built into both the display and the PC Station dock.
Extensive functionality
Even though it’s small, the Asus Transformer Book Trio still packs a lot of features into its package. Advanced Wi-Fi 802.1 wireless connectivity is included in the PC Station docking station.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0, and in tablet mode it implements Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0.
