February 21, 2016., Barcelona – ZTE Mobile Devices today unveiled the Spro Plus portable smart projector, the follow-up to the popular Spro 2 model. This device opens a new category in the Spro family and gives users even more opportunities for business and entertainment. With advanced projection and voice-activated technology, a comfortable touchscreen and innovative design elements, the Spro Plus will help colleagues and friends stay connected at all times. And an external USB-camera is useful for video conferences in Skype and other similar applications.
With the Spro Plus projector the work becomes more productive and the games more exciting. Vertically and horizontally distortion correction so you can project your picture without distortion onto any surface. Autofocus keeps the image sharp and clear, and the stylish, rounded design of the new product nicely complements the other benefits.
In place of LED technology the projector uses a laser that emits a luminous flux of 500 lm: The picture is perfectly visible in daylight and in a dark room. The new generation Spro has improved projection ratio – at 2.4 meters away from the device, it produces an image up to 80 inches on any surface.
For clear sound reproduction, the Spro Plus has an integrated JBL audio system with two speakers of 4 watts each. Ultra miniature powerful HARMAN microphones picks up the voice at 5 meters and allows to organize collective meetings in any premises.

The new Spro Plus is the continuation of the Spro and Spro 2 models, which have sold over 500,000 units worldwide. The Spro 2 projector is currently nominated at the GSMA’s 2016 Global Mobile Awards in the Best Connected Consumer Electronic Device category. In 2015, the ZTE Spro won the award in this category.
ZTE Mobile Devices showed off the Spro Plus today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Worldwide sales of the device will start in summer 2016. Price of the projector will be announced additionally.
