New York, February 6, 2013 – The Zoomby video catalog, America’s largest online aggregator of television content, is available in the Online TV app on Philips Smart TVs. The main purpose of the application is to provide access to content according to the “catch up” model. That is, the user gets access to video content of TV channels for the last 7 days. All video content is distributed in the application by day of the week. In addition to Zoomby, VGTRK, Euronews, and WallStreetJournal also provide content for Online TV.
“One of the main flavors of Zoomby is its ‘on-air’ format, which means prompt addition of content that was on the air of this or that TV channel quite recently,” says Dmitry Safronov, director of working with operators at Zoomby. – In this regard, we are very interested in the possibility of providing videos for the Online TV application of our partners – the company Philips”.
Providing content for Online TV is the next step in the development of cooperation with Philips. The owners of Philips TV sets can also make use of Zoomby application for Smart TV. With the Zoomby app, owners can now access the entire Zoomby library – 27,000 titles, always updated with the latest movies, TV shows, series, cartoons and TV shows – via their internet connection.
