The Vacuum Pump is the heart of the VacSy System, it is compatible with the entire line of VacSy containers and some Zepter cookware. This allows food to be vacuumed directly in the pots using multi-purpose universal lids. The pump is controlled by a button, it can be pressed or released, manually adjusting the process. All lids and compatible lids have a built-in calendar mechanism which allows you to accurately set the vacuum date or expiration date for your product. VacSy lids close the containers in which food is vacuumed.

Valve in the lid of the container allows you to evacuate air and maintain the vacuum inside the container. Open, Vacuum and Close indicators are located on the lid to let the user know which position the valve is in.
