The Yummly app features new voice control features that allow home cooks to control the appliances, even if their hands are dirty with flour.
In addition, Yummly has expanded scheduling options. The app now lets you create a menu for the week ahead by using the camera to recognize what you have and suggest recipe suggestions based on these ingredients.

The latest update to Yummly includes several features:
- Yummly Pro features exclusive recipes from the worldâs top chefs, all of whom have participated in creating interactive content. The home cook with any level of training can replicate the recipes of the masters and understand all the intricacies of cooking. Guided Cooking-compatible recipes also sync easily with some brandsâ Whirlpool smart ovens and, soon, KitchenAid smart ovens.
- Chef and TV host Andrew Zimmern will present his favorite classic dishes, including his signature paella
- Carla Hall, chef and anchorwoman, will talk about the delicious dishes of the southern United States
- Chef and TV host Richard Blais will teach the âbasicsâ: simple signature recipes that make people happy
- Chef and restaurateur Jet Tila will present dishes from Thailand, China, Japan and Korea, such as Chapeche and Korean Tacos
- Daniel Holzman, chef and co-founder of the renowned New York restaurant The Meatball Shop â responsible for Italian cuisine â will detail how to make the perfect meatballs.
- YummlyMealPlanning feature lets you plan meals for the week. It takes into account not only the ingredients available, but also special occasions, like holiday dinners, and the wishes of family members.
- Thanks to YummlyÂŽ Voice, users will be able to view step-by-step recipes without fear of getting their phone or tablet dirty.
- Updated Yummly Pro automatically populates shopping lists based on selected recipes and takes into account ingredients you already have. Users will be able to order products from this list directly through the Yummly Pro app.
- The GuidedCooking function monitors your cooking time using timers. Recipes marked with the Connected Fork icon connect to select Whirlpool appliances and, soon, a KitchenAid smart oven to automatically adjust and change temperature, mode, cooking time and other settings directly from the userâs device.
Yummly offers personalized recipe recommendations based on usersâ taste preferences and dietary needs, as well as the ability to select and save recipes, create shopping lists, order groceries and generally make life easier for home cooks.
