Winter Exotic Salad

In winter we really lack vitamins, the hustle and bustle of life forces us to eat whatever it is, snacks and so on, but the body requires it. So this weekend I decided to cook a vitamin, healthy, and most importantly tasty salad “Winter Exotics” and I am in a hurry to share the recipe with you.

We will need:

– Mango medium sized

– Salad leaves

– Tomato 2 pcs

– Bulgarian pepper 1 pc

– Onions 1 small head

– 1 tbsp.Drizzle with olive oil or vegetable oil

– 0,5 lemon

– 2 teaspoons grape vinegar

– salt to taste.

Cooking

Wash all ingredients in cold water. Cut the lettuce leaves in 2-3 cm ribbons, peel and cut the onions in half rings, scald them with boiling water to remove the bitterness. Peel mango, separate flesh from seed and cut into slices.

Cut tomatoes and sweet bell pepper into 1-1,5 cm cubes.

Prepare the dressing: cut the lemon in half, squeeze the juice from one part, add 1 tbsp.lg. Oil and 2 teaspoons grape vinegar.

Blender

Pour all ingredients into a large bowl, add dressing and salt, stir and place in a salad bowl.

As everyone knows mango is a tropical fruit, it contains a group of unique enzymes that stimulate the formation of collagen and elastin fibers, medium-sized mango contains 57 mg of vitamin C, which is approximately the daily requirement of human consumption, plus it strengthens the immune system, mango also contains more than 8000 IU of vitamin A.

Bell bell pepper is a record-breaker for its vitamin C content, as well as vitamin P, provitamin A carotene and vitamin B group, mineral riches are presented in paprika in the form of salts of potassium and sodium, as well as phosphorus, zinc, iron, iodine, calcium and magnesium.

Tomatoes have a very rich list of useful substances, they contain glucose and fructose, iodine, sodium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron. It is full of vitamins such as A, B, B2, B6, K, PP, E.

Onions improve appetite, digestion of food, increase the body’s resistance to infectious diseases.

Lemon contains vitamin C, along with vitamins A, B1, B2, and D, and a vitamin unique to citrus fruits: citrine vitamin P . In its chemical composition it is a complex phenolic compound, which has high biological activity and healing qualities. Lemon is rich in mineral salts and citric acid, so it is very healthful and important for the body.
