I felt like wandering around the world again this evening. I’ve looked through the photos Nikon sent to the contest and there are already more than 400 of them. I recognized some places I have taken photos of: Nevsky Prospect, Kremlin, Ostankino, but I’ve never seen them like this before. And it was interesting to look at them in case I’ll meet them too… And looking at the other works, envied – and each time in a different way, with its own elusive nuances. In one case, from an unexpectedly accurate view of life, in the other from a sliver of emotion and the closeness of awe, as if you yourself had burned your heels over the fire…
