New York, April 17, 2012. – Whirlpool, the largest manufacturer of household appliances, presents new models of air conditioners. Among new products are split-systems of City, Carisma and Sail Premium design collections as well as mobile air conditioners.
The devices incorporate the latest Whirlpool technology in climate control. With their high performance, the air conditioners can effectively cope not only with the summer heat, but also create a comfortable atmosphere at any time of year. Their elegant design will complement any interior and will look organic both in the apartment and in the country house.
Affordable comfort
Split-systems of City Line design collection: AMD 310 – 311 – 312 – 313
Whirlpool split air conditioners support cooling and heating mode. Creating a comfortable climate all-season, they help their owners not to depend on vagaries of the weather.
Among the new products of 2012 in the City Line design-collection are compact AMD 310, AMD 311 and AMD 312 air conditioners and a more powerful device with larger dimensions AMD 313. All solutions support the unique Whirlpool technology “6th Sense”. These are high-performance and energy-efficient solutions with energy efficiency class A.
Models are equipped with a three-speed fan with a selectable direction of airflow. They support the modes “Sleep”, “Turbo”, “Fan”, as well as dehumidification and auto restart, which keeps the settings even in case of an unexpected power failure. The timer of air conditioners can be set for 24 hours. Control of the devices is carried out with the remote control with a handy display and a widescreen LED screen on the air conditioner itself.

Carisma Design Collection split systems: AMD 031/1 – 032/1-039
The new split-systems AMD 031/1, AMD 032/1 and AMD 039 join the Carisma Line collection of Whirlpool home appliances that feature refined and unobtrusive design.
New conditioners have low noise level and high efficiency. They are equipped with an innovative filtering system for efficient air filtration. AMD 031/1 and AMD 032/1 models are equipped with two filter types: Active Carbon filter that removes unpleasant smells and impurities and Silver Ion anti-bacterial filter that destroys harmful microorganisms.
This function is carried out by catechin filter in AMD 039 split system. Filter clogging indicator and self-diagnostic function makes the air conditioners easy to use. Units are equipped with electronic control system and LED display with electronic clock. They support Sleep, Turbo and Comfort functions, dehumidification mode and Auto Swing up and down automatic airflow direction and of course Whirlpool patented technology “6th Sense”.
Premium Climate
Sail Premium Line design collection split systems: AMD 350 – 351 – 355
AMD 350, AMD 351 and AMD 355 design versions added to the collection of the most technological and powerful models of Sail Premium Line.
They are based on Whirlpool’s latest developments with “6th Sense”. With the help of Inverter technology, the devices create in a few minutes the required temperature and climate mode in the premises and maintain it during the period of operation, working both in cooling and heating mode.
AMD 350 and AMD 351 models are equipped with a HEPA filter for efficient air purification.
AMD 355 has a five-stage air filtration system “5in1”. Along with Cold Plasma ion generator that can oxidize harmful microorganisms, destroy shells and DNA of bacteria and viruses, this model includes Silver Ion, Catechin, Caro and HEPA filters.
These air conditioners combine high performance with energy efficiency: AMD 350 and AMD 351 are energy class A, AMD 355 is energy class A+. They support Power Save mode, power consumption in Standby mode is only 1W.
The new models are equipped with a stylish White LED display with Display Off function and are offered in White AMD 350 and AMD 351 and Silver AMD 355 colors. The air conditioners support “Sleep” and “Turbo” functions, dehumidification and auto restart as well as the Auto Clean self-cleaning system.
Mobile Cooling
Mobile air conditioners: AMD 081 and AMD 092/1
Easy installation and convenience are the distinctive features of the new models of mobile air conditioners based on “6th Sense” by Whirlpool: The laconic AMD 081 in Carisma design and the impressive black and silver AMD 092/1 in Carisma Premium style. These models are easy to install.
The more democratic AMD 081 model only provides cooling, while the “higher” AMD 092/1 model also provides heating. The features of both devices include the Sleep and Turbo functions and the Comfort function in the AMD 092/1 , dehumidification, auto restart, fan and Air Swing function – automatic up and down airflow directions.
AMD 081 air conditioner is equipped with a dust filter, while the AMD 092/1 has HEPA and Silver Ion filters. New mobile air conditioners are equipped with LED display with electronic clock and fully closing blinds. The units are A class energy efficient.
