What to get for March 8th?

On the threshold of March, 8 OBI company conducted a research on what presents women would like to get for the holiday this year.

Flowers

An OBI poll showed that 40% of American women cannot imagine this spring holiday without flowers and the most desired gift for March 8th was travel 35% and jewelry 32% .

Among those who are always happy to have a fresh bouquet, mainly admirers of tulips and roses.

According to OBI research roses are most appreciated in the central regions of America, in the Urals and Siberia New York, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Omsk , and tender tulips are most welcome in the southern cities of Volgograd and Krasnodar, as well as in Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan.

However, 16% of women honestly admitted that they would not like to get flowers as a gift at all.

Gifts

Men are ready to give flowers and presents for March 8th not only to their wives and girlfriends 83% , mothers 72% and other female relatives 48% , but also to their ex-spouses.

About 6% of men do not forget to congratulate their former halves.

A third of those polled also make presents for their female colleagues. 25% of them will share the expenses with other men at work, and 11% – will buy them themselves.

The OBI survey showed that men are generally quite aware of women’s needs and the top three presents they would like to give their beloved ones for the 8th of March almost identical to their expectations. The vast majority of men 71% will not leave their beloved without flowers and 40% plan to give her jewelry.

More than a half of female respondents in Volgograd and Nizhny Novgorod consider this the ideal gift for March 8.

Residents of Kazan prefer useful gifts: a third of respondents dream of home appliances.

In Yekaterinburg, on the contrary, ladies appreciate excitement and will be happy to get a trip as a holiday gift, but only 8% of them can count on spending the holidays with their beloved on a romantic trip.

And feats

In the survey men admitted that on March 8 men are ready not only to spend money on nice gifts and flowers, but also to perform feats for the sake of beloved women.

Thus, 57% of respondents are ready to bring their beautiful ladies coffee in bed on March 8,

and 55% will do the cleaning in the apartment.

One third of the respondents are even ready to kill a mammoth for their beloved. And for residents of Yekaterinburg, this feat is more preferable than coffee in bed.

And men from Krasnodar don’t mind to present their beloved with a million scarlet roses. For such a romantic and generous gesture on March 8, 34% of respondents were ready to go.
