At the first look at this device – 3QMMP-SF402H media player – you get the feeling that we’re looking at a sound board. In fact, it is, with the only difference that it has a built-in media player – so when you search for this model on the vast expanses of the Internet – do not forget to specify both parameters, as in different stores this device may belong to different categories.
The media player is based on the Realtek RTD1283DD chipset+. Recall that the class of devices implemented on the “Rialtek” chipsets, the most numerous – this is due to a combination of good functionality and affordable price.
Considering that the home theater soundbars are a compromise solution after all, the use of Realtek chipset is quite reasonable, as the use of other microcircuits would lead to a considerable price increase of the system.
Realtek chipset uses a single processor running at 400MHz. Version 1283 learned to encode video from analog input and allows the device to receive digital television, – which was realized in the 3Q-MMP-SF402H.
Functionality and equipment

Those who will use 3QMMP-SF402H as an audio system or as a stationary media player with an external hard drive most likely do not need the wireless connection, so there is no sense to overpay.
Sound
The unit is equipped with a Standard 2 audio system.1 – Two stereo channels and a subwoofer. You can select a ready sound setup, or you can adjust the treble and bass independently, according to your taste.
The subwoofer volume can be controlled separately, which extends the possibility of obtaining optimal sound.
Certainly, the sound is not the strong point of the device – in general, the sound can be described as pushy and a little harsh, especially when listening to compressed audio material. But this does not seem a big problem if you remember that we are not a music system, but exactly the cinema system.
Music: Apple-flavored. And what about!
In addition to the role of the media player, the device can be used for other purposes.
The device has a built-in dock for connecting your iPhone and iPod, which will be a pleasant surprise for owners of the corresponding “Apple” gadgets. The system at the same time will be used as an active speaker. Owners of other brands of music gadgets can use the analog RCA input.
The already mentioned digital input can be useful when using the soundbar as an external audio system for watching terrestrial TV – many modern TV sets have only digital output, which is often a problem for owners.
And another nice “bonus” is digitization. You can connect a VCR to this device and use it to digitize old VHS tapes, and you can even digitize old vinyl records by connecting a turntable, because the media player can record the signal which comes not only from a TV tuner, but also from analog video and audio inputs.
But that’s not all….
A variety of functions suggests that the unit is ready to become the center of a home entertainment system, and generously equipped with all kinds of interfaces opens up the possibility of connecting devices with each other. For example, three HDMI inputs allow you to simultaneously connect, for example, a DVD-player you already have, a satellite receiver and a game console.
