Vitesse VS-218 juicer test: if you like juice, you can make some noise!

How it works and what it produces

This sump has a quite large capacity, able to accept shredded waste from 2 kilos of carrots loaded in the sump.

If the size of fruits or vegetables is larger than the receiving throat, the product is pre-cut into several pieces.

To protect your fingers when pushing ingredients for juice into the receiving throat, use a special pusher it will facilitate and secure the flow of fruits and vegetables to the cutting blades. But you can’t overdo it, and here’s why.

Test with a dynamometer

If force is used uncontrollably when pushing food into the intake throat applies to male pushers , hard fruits and vegetables, such as carrots, will get stuck.

The Noise Test

Noise background with a special noise meter DVR-401 I started to measure in the tests of household appliances traditionally. In the case of the Vitesse VS-218 juicer, the tester showed maximum 99dB at maximum spin speed Speed II , and 78dB at minimum spin speed Speed I .

Speed test

The juicer has two speed modes – the mode of power “I” and “II”. To understand the difference between the two, you can’t avoid a biased analysis. The noises at different operating modes are described above, and the “juice” efficiency at the output, it turns out, also depends on the correct speed/power setting.

At the second maximum speed in the grater of the device forms an excessive amount of pulp, which leads to low juice output, and a large unwarranted loss of product.

The obvious practical conclusion from this test is that it is better to grind soft fruits and vegetables at maximum speed, while hard fruits and vegetables such as carrots, avocados, apples of certain varieties and others should be grinded at maximum speed. – on minimum.

Therefore, in order to get at least a glass 200 ml of juice each of the three members of the family, from “solid” products such as carrots, have to load the juicer at least three times giving it a cool down and work necessarily on the first speed. Protection or protection

The “smart” juicer has several protection options.
