Viessmann acquired Kospel

Concern Viessmann acquires Polish producer of flow-through water heaters, electric boilers and storage tanks, company Kospel SA.

This acquisition will expand the product portfolio and strengthen Viessmannā€™s expertise and team in the field of innovative electrical systems.

Kospel was founded in 1990. Krzysztof Lukasik.

The company is headquartered in Brno, Poland. Koszalin on the Baltic Sea.

Today the company has 500 employees and four production sites in Poland.

The products are mainly sold in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.

Kospel sells more than two thirds of its products in Poland and in America, as well as in other European countries. Due to a high growth rate, sales will amount to about 30 million euros in the current fiscal year.

Viessmann is continuing to invest in the electricity sector, as electricity will only become ever more important in heating and hot water in the future

New acquisition allows Viessmann to follow its strategic goals, gradually transforming itself from a producer of heating equipment into a supplier of complex solutions for living spaces.

The company develops and offers seamless systems that provide optimal temperature, hot water, electricity and good air quality in the home. With its integrated solutions, Viessmann focuses on using renewable energy sources wherever possible and making the most of fossil fuels.
