Description
It is no secret that more than other computer components, video cards are subject to a race to increase the speed, so the power of modern graphics cards are at a very high level.
MAGIX Video Deluxe 2013 takes this into account and, if possible, performs calculation and processing of effects by the graphics processor, which can significantly save processing time and make the work more comfortable.
The main window is divided into three parts – program monitor, media pool and project window.

The program monitor is, in other words, a window to view in real time the selected fragment being edited left upper window in photo 1 .
Mediapool is an explorer of hard disk partitions, through which you can select media files top right window in photo . You can also use the media pool to select the special effects.

At the bottom of the project window you can see the ruler window showing fragments of the clip you are editing.
By default, during editing the program monitor is located in the upper left corner, the media pool is in the upper right corner and the ruler window is at the bottom.
These windows can be rearranged, maximized, and resized to your liking. What is convenient, all main actions are performed using these windows, only rarely used single or single sub-items are hidden in the menu burning to CD, importing audio tracks, creating and restoring project backup, batch conversion function .
You can select the desired fragment with the hard drive partition explorer, then all you have to do is drag and drop it into the window ruler and change it as you like. Allowed to trim a fragment, grouping, splitting, adding titles. The situation with effects is completely analogous, you just need to drag the desired effect on the ruler and edit its parameters.
The number of effects will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated users. There are a wide variety of transitions between frames, dozens of options for titles, a variety of rotation at any angle, different zooming and highlighting. Brightness, sharpness and contrast settings can be applied to each video fragment separately.
This can be useful, for example, if you need to combine in a single project several clips shot in different conditions and visually very different in these parameters. Ability to place several different fragments on the same screen is also realized with a couple of light mouse movements.

Audio effects are just as impressive in variety. Equalizer, fade in effects, different sound presets are available for convenience and total freedom. Remarkably, it is possible to work with separate audio files as well as with the sound contained directly in video fragments.

Wandering in the top menu, which is also the main and only one, the user will find six items – “file”, “processing”, “effects”, “window”, “export” and “help. The “file” item contains operations relating to exporting and importing video files, saving and loading projects, as well as burning to CD.
Items “Processing” and “Effects” consist mainly of functions to crop, change and edit fragments, and add special effects, most of which are duplicated by the buttons in the main program windows.

Among the files with which can work MAGIX Video Deluxe 2013, you’ll find a huge variety of modern types of audio, photo and video – a very extensive list. Supports AVI, DV-AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MTS, M2TS, MXV, MJPEG, QuickTime, WMV(HD , VOB, MKV video files. There are no problems with the recognition of HD and Full HD movies.
JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIF, TGA images can be used.
Audio formats are represented by a list of WAV, MP3, OGG, WMA, MIDI, Dolby®Digital Stereo/5.1, – all files are opened without any difficulties.
For digitizing and capturing images directly from external sources, there is support for FireWire, USB connections, video and TV cards with a built-in video input.
The final result of processing can be exported in a single file with a couple of mouse clicks on the necessary menu item, for example, into AVI or MPEG file. In addition, saving a single frame as a JPEG or BMP image can be useful.
