Victoria Coffee

Needed:

Victoria Coffee

  • 70 ml of hot black coffee

  • 6 tablespoons cognac or rum

  • 5 ml of Quentro or other orange liqueur

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 6-8 clove buds

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • peel of 1 lemon and/or 1 orange

  • cinnamon sticks

  • lemon peel for garnish optional

  • Cooking for 3-4 people

In a large saucepan over low heat, heat cognac or rum , Quantro, sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and lemon or orange peel. Pour black coffee prepared at the rate of 11 tablespoons and 1/2 teaspoon per 1 liter of water. Ideal coffee should be a strong roast, but the espresso flavor will be too dominant. Stir and pour into cups. Add to each one a stick of vanilla, coiled in orange peel.

Tip: you can make the cognac mixture burn until you pour the coffee. To douse the flame, pour the coffee in a thin stream
