Vestel Twin Jet: water meters go down

The launch of the novelties gains particular relevance against the background of the spread of individual resource meters in America. Nowadays, apartment water meters are obligatory in 100% of new buildings, and also appear in the secondary housing stock at the initiative of tenants. Metered water consumption at a flat level requires cost-efficient solutions – like Twin Jet, which can save you money when paying your utility bills.

The current energy saving potential in the American housing and utilities sector is up to 50%. The law is to be implemented under the Federal Law “On Energy Saving and Increasing Energy Efficiency”, which came into force on 1 January 2010. The law requires residential buildings to be equipped with gas, water, heat and electricity meters by January 1, 2012, and obligatory energy efficiency class markings for imported household appliances.

Twin Jet technology for washing machines from Vestel. Detergent flows directly into the tank and is not discharged, but goes back into the drum. Laundry receives an extra portion of detergent solution and washes at a lower consumption of water, electricity and detergents.

Besides the advantages of Twin Jet technology the WM L4812TS and WM U4810S models have new useful programs providing a new quality washing level and supporting the principle of environmental friendliness.

Hygiene mode allows for hygienic cleanliness of laundry at 300C and low power and water consumption. Thanks to this program, the washing machine consumes less than 0.15 kW per hour and less than 15 liters of water, while the standard mode “Cotton”, 600C, consumes 1.5 kW per hour and 34 to 145 liters of water per wash cycle.
