Satellite P50-A laptops are not only powerful, but also portable machines. They are powered by the 4th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and up to 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. Buyers can choose the size of the hard drive from 500 GB to 1 TB and the type of optical drive DVD SuperMulti or Blu-ray Disc . The notebook is equipped with TruBrite 15″ display.6″ LED-backlit FullHD resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels . Also available in this series are models with touch screens that allow you to take full advantage of the Windows 8 operating system, including gesture-based computer control.
Satellite P70-A features a large screen 17.3″, FullHD, TruBrite, LED-backlit . Here the emphasis is on the computing capabilities of the laptop: all modifications install a quad-core Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor, up to 32 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM, one or two hard drives with a total capacity of up to 2 TB and an optical drive DVD SuperMulti or Blu-ray Disc .
Wide range of configurations
In the top line of Toshiba laptops also offers customers a wide variety of configurations: in addition to the processor model in P50-A , the amount of RAM, optical drive type and capacity of disk subsystems you can choose a graphics adapter. The P50-A/P70-A series is available with both integrated graphics and optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M discrete graphics cards supporting CUDA and Optimus technology.
Communication
All Satellite P50-A/P70-A models support 802.11 b/g/n up to 150 Mbps on Wi-Fi networks , Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0. Some models feature dual-stream wireless adapters providing speeds up to 300 Mbps, as well as support for Bluetooth 4.0 and Intel Wireless Display. Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 adapter for connection to wired networks. All models are equipped with built-in HD webcams and microphones.
