High-performance 3.5-inch capacity drive for designers, gamers and other advanced PC users

X300 8TB hard drive features a SATA interface with up to 6Gb/s transfer rate and support for technologies that improve performance and reliability. This makes it a suitable option for powerful workstations, all-in-one PCs, gaming PCs and home media centers. Backing up and restoring large amounts of files, regular game saving, photo and video processing, running multiple applications simultaneously – the X300 can handle any workload.

Spindle speeds up to 7200 RPM. Features a high-capacity 128MB buffer and dual-level drive, which improves positioning accuracy and prevents the hard drive’s magnetic head from shifting due to vibration. Drive supports Advanced Format AF partitioning and hardware-assisted instruction queuing NVQ .

New 8TB drive features Perpendicular Magnetic Recording PMR and Tunnel Magneto-Resistive TMR Recording for high areal density, reliability and performance. Data storage security is ensured by a built-in shock sensor to increase resistance to vibration and head park technology to protect files during transport.

Computer components

The X300 8TB high performance hard drive will be available in June 2016 at a recommended price of 27,888 Dollars. Two-year warranty.
