Toshiba launches CANVIO AEROMOBILE wireless SSD

September 3, 2014, New York – Toshiba’s European storage peripheral division TEG announces the Canvio AeroMobile wireless SSD, combining the convenience and capacity of a portable hard drive with the reliability and performance of an SSD. This handheld device not only has a high-speed USB 3 interface.0, but also a built-in Wi-Fi module, making it possible to transfer files to up to eight devices simultaneously.

Executed in a stylish body of white gold, Canvio AeroMobile is an indispensable element of the digital universe, eliminating the need to store important data in the memory of a phone, tablet or laptop. Thanks to the built-in SD-card slot, you can easily expand your data storage capacity to 128 GB[1] and also quickly transfer work-related files, family photos and videos directly to the drive. Users get a reliable storage device because the SSD is shock and vibration resistant and can be used for up to 8 hours without recharging thanks to the high capacity battery.

Lightweight and compact, Canvio AeroMobile Wireless SSD fits easily in your pocket. Canvio AeroMobile Wireless SSD can operate for up to 8 hours on a single battery charge, compatible with versions of Microsoft Windows 8.1, 8 & 7, Mac OS X 10.7 i 10.8, iOS version 5.1-7 and Android OS versions 2.3-4.2. All units come with a two-year limited warranty.

Coming to the American market the new Canvio AeroMobile is expected in October at a tentative price of 7050 Dollars.
