Toshiba Memory Europe introduces the new U365 high-capacity flash drives with USB 3.0 and retractable design. The U365 range of drives is available in capacities up to 256 GB with a maximum read speed of 150 MB/s.
U365 uses multi-layer 3D BiCS FLASH™ flash memory with higher surface area density compared to traditional 2D NAND flash memory. U365 lineup consists of four units with capacities of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. 256GB model features up to 5 hours of 4K video or 715 high resolution audio tracks of up to 5 minutes each at 192kHz 24-bit.
“BiCS Flash™ technology increases capacity up to 256GB, and the U365 drive boasts a maximum read speed of 150MB/s. So, within the U365 series, we can offer both excellent speed performance and impressive capacity,” says Sandrine Aubert, senior marketing manager at Toshiba Memory Europe GmbH.
U365 drive enclosure is a matte black plastic with no decorations. The design uses a convenient USB Type-A retractable connector that is compatible with USB 2 standards.0 High Speed and USB 3.0 Super Speed . The device measures 55 x 21.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs about 9 g. Compatible operating systems include Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, OS X versions 10.9 – 10.11 and macOS versions 10.12 – 10.13.
