Toshiba Memory Europe introduces EXCERIATM M303E, a new series of ruggedized microSD memory cards for in-car DVRs and security cameras. New series introduces 128GB, 64GB and 32GB models. 128GB model can record about 12 hours of Full HD video. The new memory cards are designed to write up to 6,000 hours cyclically for the 128GB model up to 3,000 hours cyclically for the 64GB and 32GB models and come with a 2-year warranty.
Regular SD memory cards are not compatible with car DVRs and surveillance cameras. Some of the regular SD cards do not provide the continuous recording mode that car DVRs do.
The M303E rugged microSD card series uses BiCS FLASHTM technology. The cards pass Toshiba Memory Corporation’s rigorous quality control, offer the reliability needed by everyday users, and serve as the optimal solution for both regular daily and long journeys.
All M303E series cards offer write speeds of up to 65MB/s and read speeds of up to 98MB/s, and fall within the A1 specification of the Application Performance Class, developed by the SD Association. Uses SD UHS-I interface and complies with UHS Speed Class 3, Video Speed Class 30, and SD Speed Class 10.
The M303E series is IPX7 waterproof, X-ray proof in accordance with ISO78160, shock proof, ESD resistant, over current proof, and has an operating temperature range of 110°C -25 to +85°C , making it suitable for in-vehicle environments.
