Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. Announces new Tokina F lensí The RIN 20 mm F2 FE AF, which complements Tokina’s premium “Fí RIN” for mirrorless cameras with Sony E-mount. Expanding the range with new autofocus model Tokina offers users the possibility of choosing the best lens according to the purpose and style of shooting.
Outstanding optical performance
Fí The RIN 20mm F2 FE AF is an autofocus version of the existing Fí RIN 20mm F2 FE and optimized for use with full frame sensors. Optical circuitry consists of 13 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical elements and three Super-Low Dispersion glass elements that suppress spherical and chromatic aberration, ensuring high image quality even at the maximum open aperture.
Fast and accurate autofocus
The autofocus drive system uses a ring-type ultrasonic motor equipped with a GMR sensor. Which achieves fast, accurate and silent autofocus. The lens is also fully compatible with Sony’s Hybrid AF system and other AF features, giving you the same level of performance as Sony E-mount lenses. By transmitting focal length data, Fí The RIN 20 mm F2 FE AF can also make the most of the in-camera image stabilization feature.
MF Assist and optical correction
Fí The RIN 20mm F2 FE AF is MF Assist compliant, where manual adjustment of the focus ring is achieved while the image is zoomed in and the distance scale is shown on the screen.
By acquiring the necessary data from the lens chip, the camera can correct distortion, lateral chromatic aberration and fading.
Release Date
New Tokina F lensí RIN 20mm F2 FE AF to be unveiled at CP+ 2018. The lens will be available in late April for the Japanese market and in late May worldwide. Price of the lens is not specified.
