New York, November 21, 2013. – Thrustmaster introduces the first steering system officially licensed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe SCEE and also compatible with the PlayStation 3 PS3 . This system provides fans of racing simulators full immersion in their favorite racing games on both versions of the PlayStation console. Design 25-cm racing wheel, developed by Thrustmaster, has two goals: to provide a realistic experience and give users the opportunity to hone their racing skills. The T80 steering system is fully compatible with this concept.

It supports Plug & Play connection with a new generation console, the release of which is expected soon, and offers special features: for example, the official buttons SHARE, OPTIONS and PS are located directly on the steering wheel. The T80 steering system design combines superb comfort with exceptional functionality. Ruler with rubberized textured coating provides an excellent grip – just what a gamer needs during long races. In addition, the system offers 11 function buttons, a multi-position D-pad button, sequential paddle shifters on the steering wheel and a large pedal pad with adjustable pedals.
The adjustable sensitivity of the T80 system allows for more precise control over the controls – regardless of driving style. The system performs smoothly in all conditions thanks to realistic linear resistance provided by Thrustmaster’s exclusive Bungee Cord technology and automatic steering wheel centering function.
