Three new Philips Momentum console monitors at gamescom 2019

MMD, a leading display specialist and Philips licensing partner for monitors, introduces three new models in the Philips Momentum line: the 55-inch Philips Momentum 558M1RY 142 cm , the 31.5-inch Philips Momentum 328M1R 80 cm and the 27-inch Philips Momentum 278M1R 68.6 cm . The new products designed for console gamers were first shown in the business area of gamescom exhibition. Other guests can visit the public, joint stand AOC A-080, where on the area of 102 square meters are presented other gaming monitors.

Three new Philips monitors to go on sale in Q1 2020. The 55-inch Philips Momentum 558M1RY stands out of the trio. Features an UltraClear 4K UHD display with 120Hz refresh rate, 3840×2160 pixels and VESA-certified DisplayHDR 1000 technology. This combination will help gamers to fully immerse themselves in the gameplay. Partnering with Bowers & Wilkins to create the monitor, the new product will brighten up any gaming session with balanced bass, crystal clear voice and stunning audio. Three gaming sound modes to choose from so you can customize your sound.

Designed in a new format, the 27-inch Philips Momentum 278M1R runs at 60Hz at 4K resolution, delivering jerk-free clarity while retaining all the best Philips features in a compact package.

All three monitors feature our innovative Ambiglow technology – a halo of light around the device that extends entertainment content beyond the screen for the ultimate immersive experience. In addition to increased accuracy and balance, all three Momentum monitors feature Adaptive-Sync technology for smooth images and low signal latency.
