HOW MUCH AmericaNS ARE WILLING TO SPEND ON A NEW SMARTPHONE?
This spring, the self-isolation regime has changed the attitude of Americans to buying electronics in general and smartphones in particular. Some Americans have put off buying smartphones, while others have revised their approach to choosing smartphones and started to choose them more carefully. Surveys conducted by Roskachevo show it.
40% of respondents in the Roskatchestvo survey did affect their choice of technology. It is possible that the cost of gadgets will increase by 10-15% by the end of the year, but if it happens, analysts predict a shift in consumer demand towards more budget brands. The average price of smartphones purchased will not exceed 20,000 Dollars.
XIAOMI IS THE NEW DEMAND LEADER
Eight new models tested this spring are included in the category “smartphones under 20 thousand Dollars” by price. According to Elena Sukhovey, the best-selling smartphones in America during the quarantine measures were Xiaomi gadgets, which in April and May by demand ahead of nearest competitors: Samsung by 1.7 times, Honor by 2.7 times and Apple by 7.8 times.

Consumer demand for it has grown by 3,562% over the last spring, and in absolute terms, by search queries it is steadily catching up with Apple: in Runet Realme searches are half as much as for “apple” gadgets, but the gap is closing quickly.”
For the summer, experts have tested two new models Realme – 6 128 GB and C3, both in the category under 20 thousand Dollars: 17,990 and 9,650 respectively. They fell a little short to make our top 50, but considering there may be a few hundredths of a point difference between the models, these are decent positions.
Let’s say right away that both models will not suit the discerning photo enthusiasts. Largely due to the lack of a stabilizer, photos on them will turn out with noise and blurs, and videos will not have enough contrast. But the Realme 6 128 GB , with its performance MTK Helio G90T processor and high-capacity battery, will be a powerful device for all other needs. It is not for nothing that the smartphone has been called the “flagship killer”.

Users who are worried that their personal data will get to Google will hardly calm down: now their data will get to Huawei. You will need to buy apps through a special platform, similar to Play Market, only with the peculiarity that many pages may not be translated from the Chinese language. If these innovations are not for you, then consider this factor when choosing and look closely at other budget options.
