The poweusaul and compact Electrolux UltraOne Mini vacuum cleaner wins the prestigious Red Dot Design award

Electrolux UltraOne Mini draws on tried-and-tested technology from the UltraOne that won the iF Design Award in 2010, the Plus X Award for Product of the Year in 2011 and has won numerous other tests in 11 European countries. The new model has high suction power, comparable to that of a full-sized premium vacuum cleaner.

Electrolux experts have made the UltraOne Mini 30% smaller than similar standard models, which is very important for owners of small apartments and houses, where the question of storage is particularly acute. It weighs around 4,5 kilograms and has soft wheels and a long cord. Handle-mounted AeroPro remote control system makes it easy to operate the vacuum cleaner and eliminates the need for users to bend down to press the right button.

Efficiency, great design and quietness

The UltraOne Mini has a modern and colourful design in a sleek metallic blue housing with a digital display.

The UltraOne Mini is one of the quietest vacuum cleaners on the market today, with a noise level of just 72 decibels, making it a real pleasure to use. “The sound absorption capacity is very limited, but we’ve been able to keep the noise generated by our new appliance to a minimum,” says Anna Elling, Marketing Manager at Electrolux.

The result is this year’s red dot design award, one of the most prestigious international design awards. The red dot design competition was first held in 1955 and is now one of the most internationally recognized. Prize awarded by the Design Centre NRW. The UltraOne Mini was also Product of the Year at a 2013 contest in Spain.
