FEATURES OF THE MG1310/DC: WHAT OURSSON HAS IN STORE FOR US?

Low noise level is the pride of the manufacturer due to the combination of well-thought-out construction and “correct” materials.

The motor of the multi-food grinder is reliably protected by the MPS system – automatic locking of the grinder mechanisms in case of critical loading. Thus, the meat grinder is not afraid of neither high loads nor overheating. If this system activates, the cause of the blockage must be removed e.g. by letting the motor cool down or checking that the cutting assembly is correctly assembled and the unblock button pressed.

Reverse function of the auger helps to quickly and easily remove tough pieces of meat, sinews or accidentally caught bone.

Equipped with a set of optional accessories that, in fact, turn it into a real food processor, only very compact and quiet. Accessories for shredding and chopping can be neatly stored in the special box.

The mincing wire is “hidden” in a special compartment in the bottom of the device and covered with a lid, so that not a centimeter of it sticks out, which facilitates storage and carrying of the already compact device.

Included is a beautifully illustrated book with 60 detailed and easy recipes for both meat and vegetable dishes.

Meat comes out to mince

Test 1. Productivity.

What we did: we took 1 kg of meat half beef and half pork, the usual store goulash , armed with a stopwatch: the manufacturer promises 60 kg/hour, which means 1 kg/min. We used a disk with 5 mm holes.

Result: 41 seconds normal for this device is a minute ! . Of course, this is brilliant and gives confidence that while processing more meat, even if the process slows down a little because of the inevitable catch of veins and difficult pieces, everything will be fine.

Test 2. Cutlet maker.

The nozzle is used for shaping equal, uniform cutlets.

What we did: We worked with meat already cooked. Instead of the cutting disk and knife you put in a nozzle and turn on the device.

The result: A thick, even sausage with a diameter of about 4 cm. You can cut it into flat pieces and fry it: the shaping method is good if you don’t want to get your hands dirty or if you want to make a kebab out of minced meat. These sausages are perfectly threaded on skewers.

Test 3. Sausage extensions for making gourmet sausages.

There are two of them, 1.5 and 2.5 cm in diameter. These can be used to make any homemade convenience foods, including sausages and sausages in the natural casing of pork skins. To do this, you have to put the shell on the nozzle and gently smooth it out when filling with minced meat. We did a simple test without using natural casings and just appreciated the speed and shape of the sausages.

What did you do: put ready-made minced meat in the meat grinder. Instead of the cutting disk and knife, the blade was inserted with a diameter of 1.5 cm and then a diameter of -2.5 cm.

The result: you can see the picture very well – the sausages are straight, they can be fried perfectly, even without the skin.

Love carrots instead of cutlets, also beet?

Test 4. Medium grater.

The grater and slicer are not metal, but plastic loading chamber where the grating and slicing nozzles are inserted. The pusher is also separate – in the shape of the neck of this chamber.

What we did: we tried to grate cabbage, onions, raw carrots and boiled beets borscht, you know .

Result: carrots and beets – very good, onions – rather a mush, a big residue, but if you process a lot of onions, for example for onion sauce or soup, you can use this nozzle. Nothing came out with the cabbage: apparently, the nozzle is not designed for it, as well as in general for vegetables, which consist of tightly pressed together leaves. But hard vegetables: carrots, beets, potatoes, radishes, etc.p. -will be rubbed down with a bang.

In spite of the sanctioning, the parmesan head is involved in the dough

Test 5. Fine chopper.

What I did: I don’t like to grate vegetables very finely, so I decided to use this grinder to grate the Parmesan. Interestingly, the manual only says to grate vegetables, and there is no special attachment for Parmesan in this grinder it is in MG2010 .

But still I decided to make an experiment: let it be a little different shape special nozzle for cheese does not so much grate as crumbles , but still it is problematic to grate parmesan by hand.

The result: The attachment worked perfectly, and this experience showed that not only the attachment, but also the motor is designed to process such hard and challenging products as Parmesan.

The barrel is loaded with potatoes

Test 6. Shredder.

With this attachment you can cut vegetables into circles. Carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, and other vegetables are handy this way.

What we did: we decided to make potato slices from the recipe book and shredded the potatoes.

The result: thin circles that crisped up gloriously after being fried very quickly in oil. Steamed potatoes – in strips of these and in boiling oil, yummy! Our chopper is made for such delicacies!

Test 7. Noise level.

What we did: we used a noise meter, not in an acoustic chamber, where there is no background noise, but in an ordinary apartment. The background noise level was 29 dB.

The result: when processing meat – only 65 dB assuming background noise, just incredibly low! . But even without a noise meter, when you first turn on this meat grinder, it was clear that it’s not just less noisy than most other models, but it’s so quiet that you can talk quietly and not have to add TV sound when it’s working.

Test 8. Checking the motor lock system do not repeat!

What we did: we inserted the knife by wrong side and switched on the device. “Br-r-r!”The machine said and refused to talk any further.

Result: took out the knife, inserted it correctly, pressed the unlock button and continued working as if nothing had happened.

Is the OURSSON MG1310/DC meat grinder really as good as it claims to be? Can it deliver perfect cutlets and sausages that are similar to those found in fairy tales? I’m intrigued by the idea, but is it just a marketing gimmick or does it actually live up to its promise? Any personal experiences or reviews would be greatly appreciated!
