MIDEXPO – Exhibitions and Fairs company postponed the HI-FI & HIGH END SHOW until 2021. The decision was made due to the continuation of the ban on mass events in New York.
“We were waiting for the New York government to lift restrictions on holding convention and exhibition events by the fall, so we planned to hold the exhibition in September 2020. However, the restrictions on events in. New York are not withdrawn and will be valid at least until the beginning of September,” – said Irina Nedumova, CEO of the exhibition company “Midexpo.
Another important reason is the impossibility of holding a full-fledged event in a hotel for all comers, while respecting the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor for public events, in particular: the distance of visitors 1.5 meters and intervals between listening in rooms of at least 15 minutes to ventilate and disinfect the contact surfaces. These guidelines will be very difficult to meet in the hotel format, unlike in the exhibition hall. These measures will also require a serious restriction on the number of visitors at the exhibition, which is traditionally attended by at least 17,000 connoisseurs of quality sound.
That is why the company took a difficult decision to postpone the HI-FI & HIGH END SHOW to March 19-21, 2021. The organizers plan to launch Hi-Fi & High End Show ONLINE 2020 in parallel with the offline show. The online project will present new products that manufacturers and distributors have planned to bring to the Hi-Fi & High End Show 2020 and will also introduce the equipment that will be available at the exhibition in March 2021. The Hi-Fi & High End Show ONLINE will launch in September 2020 on hifishow and the show’s social media.
