First of all, the camera was made lighter and more compact, while retaining the metal in the design of the body and individual elements. The older models don’t have a built-in flash and the miniature blitz included makes up for its lack, but the E-M10 has it all “in one package.

In amateur photographic equipment balance of performance and price, each manufacturer decides in its own way. Olympus decided that the E-M10 buyer doesn’t care so much about exceptional reliability, fast focus and burst rate, and an abundance of buttons, knobs and wheels though, unlike some other amateur cameras, there are both exposure adjustment wheels here . It’s a shame not to find a five-axis stabilizer in this model. The vibration compensation system is quite traditional here.

With all that, the E-M10 has practically the same range of software functions and specific tools for adjusting shooting parameters as the more senior models. Simply for the time being they can rest quietly in their tabs of the system menu not frightening a user who is not yet ready to meet them.

The touch screen which is almost the same as E-M1’s, video mode with good characteristics and built-in Wi-Fi with the original quick connection setup system are all nice features to note.
