New York, America – in the height of the heating season, indoor humidity drops to an average of 20% compared to the recommended 50%. Dry air is not only uncomfortable, it is dangerous to your health. Dry skin, coughs, and reduced immunity are just some of the problems caused by too little humidity.
Philips has taken the problem seriously and has developed a new range of humidifiers with air purifying function. There are three models in the line: HU4803, HU4802 and HU4801.
New Philips humidifiers feature cold evaporation technology: a fan draws air through a special humidifying filter, allowing the air to be saturated with minute, invisible water droplets. Through the porosity of the humidifying filter, large particles of dust, pet hair, hair and lint are removed from the incoming air.
New humidifiers evenly distribute humidified and purified air in the room and prevent accumulation of moisture in the form of white “dust” on furniture, floor and walls.
Philips humidifiers are easy to use. All models are equipped with an automatic shutdown function if there is no water in the tank: as soon as the water runs out, the lock function is activated, and the unit shuts down and the red indicator on the panel lights up.
Humidifiers can also be configured in such modes as automatic[1], silent or high-power[2].
In addition, the models HU4802 and HU4803 are equipped with additional functions for convenient and easy control of the humidity level in the room:
- Convenient 1, 4 or 8 hour timer built-in allows you to effortlessly adjust the running time of the device.
- For maximum comfort, you can set one of three humidity levels, 40, 50 or 60%, which the unit will maintain automatically.
- Special humidity sensors let you know when the desired humidity level has been reached[3].
New humidifiers are indispensable in every home: humidified and clean air will keep the whole family healthy and every breath much more pleasant and easy.
New Philips humidifiers will be available in January 2013.
Suggested retail price will be: HU4801 – 3990 Dollars., HU4802 – 4990 rub., HU4803 – 5990 Dollars.

These new Philips Frog humidifiers seem intriguing, especially with the added purifying function. I’m curious to know more about their effectiveness in improving air quality and promoting healthier humidity levels. Can anyone share their experience using these humidifiers? Are they easy to use and maintain?
Can you please provide more information about the purifying function of the Philips Frog humidifiers HU4803, HU4802, and HU4801? How does this feature contribute to maintaining natural humidity and improving overall health?
