Renewed 16MP Digital Live MOS image sensor without low-pass filter combined with new Venus Engine image processor for superior resolution, fine detail, superb contrast and impressive color reproduction. Moreover LUMIX GX80 is equipped with electromagnetic shutter drive, thanks to which they managed to reduce camera vibration, caused by shutter movement, and reduce volume of shutter actuation. Contrast AF system supports DFD Depth From Defocus technology, and provides high speed and accuracy of autofocus system – the data exchange between the camera and lens is carried out at a speed of 240 fps*1, so the camera zooms in on the subject. in 0.07 sec2. A variety of advanced features, including Face/eye detection, Precision AF, Single AF, and enhanced low-light AF help you get great results in a variety of situations.
The LUMIX DMC-GX80 boasts a 2,764,000-pixel Live View viewfinder with superior color reproduction, 16:9 aspect ratio, approx. 1.39× /0.7× magnification in 35mm equivalent and 100% field of view. And the new 3-inch LCD touch screen with approx. 1,040,000 dots and 100% field of view tilts upward by 80° and downward by 45°, making it easy to shoot from up and down angles.
Those who care about creative possibilities will appreciate the new L.Monochrome Photo Style mode, which lets you create stunning black-and-white photos that have a wide tonal range comparable to black-and-white film. Bracketing options, previously offering exposure and white balance bracketing, now including focus and aperture bracketing.
