The new Miele G 5000 dishwashers have 3D boxes and take some water

The new machine series is unique in its cost efficiency: depending on the model and program, the G 5000 consumes only 7 liters of water and 0.83 kWh of electricity per program cycle.

The new 3D cutlery troughs are particularly interesting: they are height and width adjustable and even large items such as ladles and corers can be placed without any problem. “With the new 3D cutlery basket, we are once again proving our position as an innovation leader,” said Dr. Markus Miele, managing director and co-owner of Miele.

In the meantime, the proven features of the cutlery basket – patented and invented way back in 1987 – remain unchanged: Knives, forks and spoons are kept separate from each other, for maximum cleaning efficiency, convenience and hygienic evacuation.

There’s also the MultiKomfort zone with three rows of dishes in the lower basket: even plates up to 35 cm in diameter, cutting boards, bowls and beer glasses fit perfectly in this area. The height-adjustable glassware racks and rail rows can be folded away.

Glasses with long stems can be safely stored in the lower and upper basket, and large cups can be comfortably accommodated on the Jumbo shelves, which are adjustable in width. BrilliantLight technology and four LEDs illuminate the interior of the new dishwashers, making loading and unloading of dishes much easier.

It goes without saying that the G 5000 has gentle, streak-free washing and drying modes for dishes and glass. The AutoOpen function, which automatically opens the door at the end of the program, makes the dishes cool down and, therefore, dry more quickly.

The Automatic program consumes just 7 liters of water for 14 loads of dishes, the Economical program consumes 0.83 kWh of energy. That includes hot water connection indeed, all Miele dishwashers have this capability , which can cut energy consumption by up to 40%. Another important convenience feature is the low noise level of the new “Especially Quiet” program only 38 dB , which means that the dishwasher is almost inaudible. So you can enjoy sweet dreams, even at night, with the sound of the appliance.

Housewives know that pots and pans require especially intensive cleaning. In the event of a combined load of dishwashers, there is a new “Bottom Box, Intensive Washing” function. With this program, the machine works particularly hard in the lower box to remove tough dirt, while the upper box does a gentle wash.

An important feature of the new G 5000 generation is the patented salt container in the door, which makes filling the machine with salt much easier: it is very easy to fill this container without having to bend over and remove the salt container.

Emphasis should also be placed on the new control panel design. As before, the management of the machine is simple and clear, the display clearly shows the additional functions of the program. The new ComfortClose concept for easy opening and closing of the door gives more comfort and the handle, which is almost flush with the worktop, integrates perfectly into straight-lined kitchens and harmonises with other appliances in the Miele 5000 series.

Thorough and thorough washing is always at the heart of Miele’s premium appliances. That’s why all models are equipped with the patented Perfect GlassCare feature – it ensures optimum water hardness and is particularly gentle on glassware.

Having “3D boxes” in the context of the new Miele G 5000 dishwashers means that the interior of the dishwasher is designed with flexible racks and shelves that can be adjusted to accommodate different sizes of dishes, pots, and pans. This feature allows for more efficient use of space and ensures that items are thoroughly cleaned from all angles.

The feature of “taking some water” sets these dishwashers apart from others on the market by allowing users to add a small amount of water to the dishwasher for selected wash cycles. This can be useful for lightly soiled loads or for quicker wash cycles. It gives users more control over the water usage, making the dishwasher more efficient and environmentally friendly. Overall, the combination of the 3D boxes and water control feature make the Miele G 5000 dishwashers a versatile and innovative option for consumers looking for top-notch cleaning performance.
