Chief announces new accessory for video walls
The Fusion series from Chief has been the most popular solution in the manufacturer’s portfolio for years. What makes the series special is that it was created based on in-depth interaction with practicing installers, who are confronted every day with some kind of application.
Last year the Fusion series has been upgraded. However, the changes do not affect the video wall mount LSMVU, as previously released a brand new solution LVS1U of the series ConnexSys.
To give installers all the features of the updated Fusion series and increase the versatility of components, Milestone, which owns the Chief brand, decided to replace the LSMVU mount with the new FCAV1U pull-out system.
The FCAV1U can be used with any of the latest version of the Fusion fixed and tilt wall mounts. Including models that support portrait orientation.
The novelty combines several functions demanded by installation specialists:
- Extend forward up to 293mm without dismounting, which is very convenient when installing the panel flush with the wall surface
- Thickness of design remains the same as previous Fusion retractable mounts
- Vertical adjustment for displaying all video wall panels in one plane
- Latch to securely hold in home position
- Compatible with X-Large Fusion tilt mounts for heavier equipment up to 68kg.
The new FCAV1U accessory is available to order from May 2016, with the previous generation of Fusion retractable mounts models LSMVU, MSMVU, LSMVPU and MSMVPU being discontinued in August.
The FCAV1U + LSM1U combination, which serves as a full-fledged replacement for the LSMVU, has an aggregate retail price of $135 USD less!
