Sharp LC-40LE530 has good image and sound quality, has a fair support for 100 Hz and is a good reader of files from external USB devices. Can be recommended to those for whom these parameters are important in the first place, and not the abundance of any additional features.

Picture Quality
The Sharp LC-40LE530 looks bright and colorful on the screen. Excellent sharpness and no blurring is worth noting. Such results were achieved due to the short response time and honest support of scanning frequency in 100 Hz, so watching dynamic scenes does not cause problems. Brightness and contrast are good. Viewing angles are wide enough for comfortable viewing from any angle – images will always be bright, saturated and high contrast.
Sound Quality
Two speakers, – 8 watts each, have sufficient volume reserve and give a good acoustic picture. Comes with a feature that can create a surround sound effect. In general, the sound is clear, there is no extraneous noise, voices are heard clearly, the surrounding sound does not seem “flat.
Design features
In terms of appearance Sharp LC-40LE530 does not stand out in any way remarkable. Rectangular frame without frills, the same rectangular stand. The touch control buttons are at the bottom left corner of the front panel and are almost invisible – with a cursory glance they may even seem to be absent. The holes for wall bracket are present, so if you want you can mount the device on the wall.
Connectors
On the back of the TV there are two HDMI, two SCART connectors one of them can work as an input and one as an output , component video input, antenna input and D-Sub connector. The left side is decorated with two USB ports, a CI slot and a headphone output. Everything you need for successful switching is present, but in a TV of this level I would like to have one or two more HDMI connectors.
Service capabilities
The TV is equipped with a very user friendly and easy to understand menu, which can cope and find any setting any person. Unfortunately, we can not say anything definite about the remote control. The remote control has many small buttons, set very close to each other, so many people will need some time to get used to it. Built-in media player allows you to listen to music, as well as view videos and photos recorded on external USB drives. There is a digital tuner, but only in an irrelevant format for America DVB-T/DVB-C. Somebody might be interested in the possibility to record digital TV programs to an external hard disk or flash drive.
