FUNCTIONALITY
Treatments must be performed once every 2 weeks for 2-3 months, then once a month for 2-4 months. Later you have to use the epilator only for partial treatment as needed, until the complete removal of hair. The long term results last from 12 to 18 months.
It is recommended to shave hairs before use.
This photoepilator tested the brunette with fair skin, was able to hold 3 sessions with an interval between treatments – 2 weeks.
The device is plugged in through the adapter which has 2 adapters – for American outlet and for 110 V outlet.
The little green light on the panel to the right of the button lights up when the epilator is plugged in. To activate your epilator, press the on button, the left light turns red, and the LED emission level is on. Press the “+” button to increase the light pulse. Two side indicators show if the epilator is ready. After that let’s bring the photoepilator to the skin area, indicators start blinking – you can pull the trigger.
The manufacturers claim that the skin color sensor blocks the device when identifying a very dark area.
Manufacturers recommend not to look at the light at the moment of pressing, you can wear sunglasses with a level of filtration S3 or higher. It is worth saying that the light is very aggressive, even if you are in the room from the flash of a photoepilator can blind your eyes for a moment, as in a camera flash, so it is better to perform these procedures alone.
The procedure already feels hot on the skin on level 2. The breast tip size is great for bikini pads and underarms, but it’s a bit small for legs.
ERGONOMICS
Easy to hold, not heavy, easy to see the control panel, the trigger is easy to pull. It’s nice, of course, that the set includes adapters for different networks.
MANAGEMENT
A lot of indicators. On the one hand it is good: there is a lamp status indicator and a light that lights up if the device does not work properly. The readiness indicators give different signals: they light steadily when the epilator is ready to analyze the skin color and blink when you can pull the trigger. But on the other hand, there are only 3 indicators for 5 levels of radiation. It turns out that 1, 3 and 5 levels – clearly visible, and 2 and 4 – do not have their own clear designation. In this case, the constant burning of one light will be supplemented by the blinking of another indicator.
CLEANSING AND CARING
After each session, we recommend wiping the photoepilator with a dry, clean cloth. It doesn’t come with a case, but it is easy to store the epilator in the box it comes in: there is room for it and all its accessories. The epilator is well fixed and there is no risk of something happening to it.
OVERALL IMPRESSION
3 sessions showed that the amount of hair and speed of hair growth decreased, but no lasting results yet. The treatment itself is easy and fast and you get used to the machine very quickly. No hassle at all.
Already after the first session, the tester noticed a decrease in the hair growth rate. It is interesting, that such feelings arose in the second tester and when testing another photopilter. So it’s true.
