WORK

Quality of cleaning. In order for the robot to clean the room qualitatively, you can use the trajectory of movement zigzags and squares, extended cleaning squares are more thorough. The robot divides the room into zones-squares, goes over them by the edge, and then zigzags inside each square.

It turned out that the suction power of the model is not very strong: purposefully scattered dirt from the dust canister of another robot for two cycles of cleaning it did not migrate to the container of this cleaner entirely, although most of it the robot removed.

But the test of the programs of local cleaning with sprinkled flour and using the microfiber pad gave a much better result: there is almost no flour on the floor.

This robot has two side paddle brushes instead of one, that’s why it efficiently sweeps the trash under itself. Besides, this model is the lowest tested one – its height is only 9 cm, so it can run under the furniture with very low legs.

I had varying success – I guess it depended on the angle of entry. Manual says robot cannot cross thresholds over 1cm in height.

Trapped by part of an untidy antenna wire, the robot immediately beeped and stopped without wasting any effort.

Since the instructions assure that the model has a sensor of height difference, we tried to “drop” the robot from the stairs, but it stopped in time and did not fall down – good job!

Return to base. There is a special program for this, but in principle at the end of cleaning it returns itself quite successfully the exception is a short local program . It is very important to make sure that the signal window to communicate with the base is not dirty and the doors are open.

Noise level. Pretty quiet model. Not enough to vacuum at night, as the manual says, but significantly quieter than the other devices in the test.

GENERAL ERGONOMICS

Dust cup. On top of the body is a lid that opens by pushing it says “push” in English . Inside the compartment is a small 400 ml container with a handle that can be conveniently pulled out.

There is another “press” button on the side to open the bin itself – this only needs to be done over the bucket!

The garbage can be emptied rather hygienically and with a little bit of skill it is possible not to touch it. The container itself, as pet owners thought, is small.

It’s not that it needs to be cleaned after every cleaning – that’s fine – but that it fills up faster and reduces suction power.

Cleaning brushes and other parts. The bristles on the side brushes, if not brushed and straightened out, will curl and become less efficient. It’s as easy to clean as the main brush, the main thing is not to start and to do it regularly.

Changing and cleaning filters. The filters are inside the dust canister and are inserted one into the other. The foam filter can be washed and dried and the HEPA filter can be brushed or replaced it is designed for 50 hours of cleaning, but much depends on how dirty the surfaces are .

Extra convenience. These should include cleaning with a microfiber nozzle, which increases the quality of the process many times over.

We didn’t find this model to have much suction power, so this addition comes in handy, helping to pick up the fine and usually clingy dust.

Wipe should be cleaned regularly not washed to avoid disturbing fiber structure .

CONTROL ERGONOMICS

Remote control. It has a directional button for manual vacuum cleaner control, as well as a button to select all programs by the way, this can only be done with the remote , a timer button, which allows you to delay the start of cleaning from 1 to 12 hours – you can program the robot to clean in your absence.

Display and control panels. Display has a bright orange backlight and shows selected path of travel, battery level and timer status.

The control panel on the chassis helps you turn on and off the process, but not the power to the vacuum cleaner – there is a key on the lower chamber of the robot on the back, inside for that.

Also on the body panel is a timer button and NOMING – return to base. Delayed start timer programmable with one button on body or remote control : the desired time can be set by pressing the TIMER button. With each push, the setting time increases by 1 hour.

Sound signals. Melodic beeps and voice instructions in American informs about the beginning and end of cleaning and charging, about jams, the need to clean the dust canister or recharge the battery.
