DESIGN CONVENIENCE
Out of tested irons this model is not the most compact, if we can seriously speak about the difference in 1-1,5 cm. Its height with folded handle is 10 cm, also a little more than other test participants. The on-hand handle is more familiar to most users and is very comfortable indeed. It folds by pressing against the body.
Right under the thumb are very handy sprinkle buttons, which by the way works great, and a constant steam feed. This button is lockable, no need to clamp and hold it.
In the handle is a stationary water tank, the hole in which is closed by a soft silicone insert on the holder, so it does not get lost. Voltage switch allows you to take it anywhere in the world.
SOLEPLATE QUALITY AND SLIDING PROPERTIES
This model has a large soleplate area, so even large items can be quickly ironed. Non-stick coating allows to clean it quickly in case of dirt. Perimeter of soleplate has steam outlets and grooves that distribute steam on fabric.
The glide is very good, the tip is sharp enough to penetrate into the corners and go right into the folds.
DRY IRONING IN DIFFERENT MODES
Mode 1 for synthetics and silk is moderately hot you can’t touch the soleplate and perfectly iron fabrics of different thickness. Ironed blended fabrics on mode 2 – same great result.
The iron just steams in mode 3, you don’t need to push it, it steams so well. But when ironing linen and coarse cotton, it’s better to moisten the fabric with a sprinkler or use steam.
STEAM IRONING
Constant steam is activated by pressing the steam button. Steam comes out fast, goes out of the soleplate evenly and is a great help for ironing. No steam impact and vertical ironing.
