EASY DESIGN

The most compact model in the test: the handle is placed sideways and the iron becomes flat. The soleplate is on average 2 cm shorter and narrower than other test models. The water tank is removed from the handle a little bit tightly, but it is in it, not in the iron you can pour water – 50 ml.

The first time, the tank was very hard to detach, but later it worked fine. Snaps back in easily. Of course, such moments depend on the quality of the assembly of individual models, there were no problems in the tested instances. The steam button is very handy to hold with your thumb.

SOLEPLATE QUALITY AND SLIDING

The soleplate area is the smallest in the test, but for a road iron this is rather an advantage. There is a gap between the soleplate and the body for ironing near the buttons. Non-stick coating does not prevent slipping, but the spout could be a little sharper: its close to rounded shape does not allow to get into the corners and slightly slows down the sliding.

Dirt really does not adhere to the coating – specially ironed synthetic on the 3rd mode, so that it would stick. Minimal soiling cleaned with a dry cloth when the iron cooled down. holes in the soleplate have grooves for steam distribution on the surface of the fabric.

DRY IRONING IN DIFFERENT MODES

Mode 1 for synthetics and silk is so gentle that you can touch the soleplate. A very thin scarf made of 100% polyester is smoothed out, a synthetic cloth with thicker fabrics “preferred” the 2nd mode announced for wool.

Mode 3 for cotton and linen does a good job on cotton, but linen is only really smooth in “steam” mode, which is fine.

STEAM IRONING

This model has no sprinkler, there is only a steam button, which can not be held for more than 10 seconds in a row. Surprisingly, but such a tiny iron gave a really strong steam, including vertical, which is not even declared by the manufacturer.

Note that the central hole in the soleplate, when you press the “steam” button, along with the steam sometimes splashes of water escape. It is not a leak, as it happens with irons, just steam has not had time to form.
