Design

A simple and elegant classic: bright colors, well-thought-out lines, handy control panel. Moves the unit on 4 steerable wheels. The unit is controlled with two rotary knobs thermostat and switch .

Indicator light lets you know when the heater is working. The length of the rubberized power cord allows you to do without an extension cord.

Heating rate

In front of us the fastest heating model. It takes 6 minutes and 40 seconds to reach operating mode. It is faster than other models.

The efficiency of heat radiation to the sides is also not bad: 3,15ºC.

The deviation of the power consumption from the rated power was only 3.28%. This is the best test reading!

So the technical indicators of this model are among the best.

Functional parameters

The room is 10 sq. ft.The heater heats up to 10°C in 2 hours and 51 minutes – a long time, but, as they say, “slowly but surely”. Because of such a long operation, and a lot of electricity was spent – 2.6 kW.

But in the mode of temperature maintenance the heater works on an “average” mode, it has the minimum power consumption in our seven – only 0,87 kWh. Temperature fluctuations are also very small – 0.67 degrees, which is impossible to feel without special instruments and measurements. After a few hours of maintaining the set level of heating, the temperature “adds” only 1ºC – this is the minimum of the test!

The heater was therefore a great value in temperature maintenance mode, making it the most economical unit, but you should keep in mind that it takes a long time to heat up the air initially.

Easy to use

In terms of usability, the heater received good ratings, but not the best.

At the assembly stage, you have to turn the case, which weighs a little more than 12 kg, carefully insert the U-bracket, and fasten the rollers with wing nuts. This is a standard procedure for heaters, but not the most convenient.

Now about the pros and cons of control. The knob for switching the heating degree works very well, so it deserves an excellent rating. When turning the second knob to adjust the temperature, it felt like it was jamming and that caused a bit of a downgrade. But the click of the bimetal plate is always clear.

Large red indicator light illuminates while heating is on.

The marking is light gray and noncontrasting.

The knob is wide and recessed in the housing. When moving the heater, it is convenient to hold on to it. But the casters are a bit slow.

The power cord is stored in a special cavity on the body, but fits there with difficulty, and the plug remains outside.

The nicest thing is that you will not have to clean the device from dust for a long time, as there are no hard-to-reach places on the body, the dirt simply has nowhere to accumulate.

The manual is complete and has an assembly drawing, with illustrations of how to take care of the unit. It contains all the information you need for safe operation! The overall impression was spoiled only by very small print.

Safety

The heater meets all the strict American safety requirements and passed all the tests with flying colors!

The manual has all the necessary information: and about the prohibition to install the heater in the vicinity of the outlet about the procedure of repair, which requires opening the container with the oil about the need to follow the instructions on the disposal of the oil of the outdated heater.

In the marking of the device there is an inscription “do not cover” in American, which is mandatory, but not always found.

Power consumption measured at nominal voltage almost exactly as declared.

You will not get burnt if you accidentally touch the appliance: the temperature of the external parts does not exceed 71°C. This is the best test score!

In the “abnormal operation” test, the heater has proven to be an excellent protector of our safety: even if careless consumers do not follow the rules of operation, namely when drying clothes on the heater, there will be no fire! Please note, this does not mean that the heater can be used as a dryer, it means that we face a high-quality safe device! .

When tipping over a hot heater, also all was normal, which means that the oil is poured as much as necessary, and all the protection systems are working properly.

The device is stable and will not tip over, even if standing on the floor with a 15° slope, and if someone pushes it in this position.

No complaints about the rubberized power cord.

No contact with live parts.

In general, there are no remarks on safety! Perfect Results.
