PICTURE QUALITY

Samsung UE55D8000 demonstrates a large margin of brightness and color. Colors change slightly when viewed from an angle of about 60 degrees from perpendicular to the screen.

Playback resolution of 850-880 TV lines from HDMI input. Motion is displayed smoothly with almost no blurring. There is some noticeable combing on moving slanted lines.

Note the fairly good quality of display shades of black. Black is deep, white is saturated, and white objects on a white background are displayed with reasonably good detail.

Special Motion Plus technology adjusts the quality of the motion display, for example, you can make the movement smoother or with sharper rendering of details.

Colors are a little oversaturated on the factory settings, but there are separate color settings that allow you to adjust the color palette to your liking.
