My first impression was, âHow smart is this?!âIt really is equipped with all kinds of sensors 39 in total and is capable of much. First of all, it is struck by a video camera, but the âeyeâ is not watching you â it is carefully studying the ceiling of the room to, based on its size and configuration, set the route for cleaning.

GENERAL IMPRESSIONS
Surprises and the speed of charging â even immediately after purchase you do not have to wait for it to charge: in 2 hours you can watch the first cleaning of the house. And of course the number of modes impresses, especially the ability to program the order of cleaning: first we clean this room, then another.
The manufacturers even calculated the speed of cleaning â 0.3 m sec â fast enough. This vacuum cleaner has side brushes, so when you clean it, it looks like a bug is moving quickly with its claws â in fact, the side brushes sweep the dust to the center, where it is swallowed by the vacuum cleaner.
PROGRAMS
Fence mode virtual wall â cleaning a specific area.
The length of the virtual obstacle must be not less than 2.5 m.
Guard mode virtual door â sequential cleaning of several areas. First it cleans one room and canât go into the second, then the obstacle is removed and the robot moves on.
Auto mode â automatic cleaning of all the rooms.
Spot mode â intensive cleaning of a certain place length 1.5 m x width 1.5 m .
Maximum mode â cleaning until the battery charge is minimal.
Handheld mode â remote-controlled cleaning.
Along the wall mode â in this program, the vacuum cleaner goes as close to the wall as possible. The speed is slowed down to minimize the collision force as much as possible.
Scheduled mode â at a preset time.
Everyday Cleaning Mode â everyday at a preset time.
ECONOMY AND MANAGEMENT
The control panel â touch buttons are labeled in English, not really understand why? A manufacturer of such level, that equips all its devices with panels in American, in our opinion, should also equip the vacuum cleaner with inscriptions in American. At the beginning you will have to resort to the help of the manual to understand how to program this technique.
The LC display shows almost all information: Which mode is selected, how much power is left in the battery, possible error codes, etc.d. Thereâs so much information, itâs hard to understand it: You have to look up what each icon means in the manual. But the vacuum cleaner runs so fast that youâre unlikely to rush after him with the instruction manual in hand and look at what light indicators lit up. If something happens and the robot stops, you can tell from the error code what to do next.
The touch buttons are marked with wide windows. One of them â âstart/stopâ is located separately, and the other three: mode Mode , delayed start Timer and charging Recharging are located below.
Audible beeps sound at the beginning and end of cleaning, when you set the base.
Remote control. In order not to lose it, we put it into the special holder on the base, which is very convenient, by the way. By the way, the remote control plays an important role in the work of this vacuum cleaner. It is the only way to set the time on the vacuum cleaner, which is necessary for programming it.
In addition, the robot is equipped with a mode when you control cleaning, holding the remote in your hands. This is an interesting feature especially enjoyed by younger and older men, in their estimation, âitâs cooler than playing with a radio-controlled carâ. Do not forget that in this case the vacuum cleaner can cross the virtual wall and bump into obstacles, because the remote control gives a very strong signal.
You can make settings by pushing the buttons directly on the body or using the remote control. The base has a power and charging indicator, but you canât use it to program the robotâs work.
CLEANING QUALITY
Conditions: two-room apartment, where one room is connected to the kitchen. The total surface area of the vacuum cleaner is 68 sq.m.m. There is only a threshold between the room and the kitchen â no more than 1 cm. Toilet and bathroom were closed â the robot did not go in there. We have carpets: one room has low pile, but with tassels on the perimeter the other room has high pile.
The floors â hardwood floors, tiles. Pets â a hairless cat that never left the vacuum cleaner while it was working.
RUNNING WITH OBSTACLES
Thresholds. No problems with getting the robot into the kitchen and back into the room. He paced back and forth playfully.
Under the furniture. Very close to the couch, for example, or to the wall, the vacuum cleaner does not approach, so he did not even try to get under the couch. His relationship with the chair was the most difficult: he didnât perceive it as an object to be passed over, but he kept getting stuck on its lower rung.
Note that if something obstructs the vacuum cleanerâs movement for 5 minutes, it is automatically turned off. In that case, you just have to push the button to continue cleaning. So it is not impossible to interfere, move the vacuum cleaner by hand and turn it on again. The nice thing is that it doesnât waste battery power and can go on cleaning.
And slippers thrown on the floor didnât scare him: He moved over them or took a detour. The high pile carpet was beyond its power and it should not be, no robot is able to clean it yet , the vacuum cleaner got over the low pile easily, but the perimeter brushes have to be hidden for the cleaning time bend them , otherwise it gets tangled in them. Manufacturers do not hide this fact and write about it in the instructions.
Go straight up to the wall, turn around, go slightly forward, turn around a bit, go to the other wall, turn around, etc.d. At the same vacuum cleaner does not clean the corners and the space between the walls and the sofa. It âseesâ obstacles from afar and tries not to approach them. Thatâs why it is best suited for cleaning wide open spaces.
There is a special program for cleaning along the walls. In this case, the cleaning speed is reduced: 7 sensors detect obstacles, and 2 sensors in the bumper ensure that the impact is absorbed if it happens.
A special program called Spot is designed for local mopping areas of 1.5 by 1.5 meters. It can help you if, for example, you spilled the grit and it has to be collected. You canât say it does it fast: it only takes a few seconds to pick up a broom and sweep, but more importantly, it does it on its own and you can spend those seconds doing something more fun.
In the AUTO program, the vacuum cleaner works all its time, but you canât say it goes through an entire apartment: some areas it visits a few times, some it doesnât look at at all. An interesting detail: as soon as you take the robot in your hands, it stops working, put it down â you have to press the âStartâ button to continue cleaning.
The device does not have a dust-collector fill indicator â it will clean even if the container is full, so you need to monitor its condition. The best thing to do is to dust it off after every vacuuming.
NOISE LEVEL
Not exactly the quietest vacuum cleaner in the world. Of course, itâs much quieter than larger units, but the noise of its work interferes with your comfortable life. For example, I could not combine the robot with listening to the news on the radio, I had to turn up the volume.
But after all, the robot can clean rooms in your absence as well, it doesnât have to be started when you plan to be in that room. And this is the main and invaluable advantage of robots: you walk and it cleans.
SEARCHING BASE
The only condition: when setting up the base, take care that there are no foreign objects within 0.5 m on the left and right and 1 m in front of it. If this condition is met, it is easy for the vacuum cleaner to find it. It is fun to watch it park. Everything must be accurate to the millimeter, if it canât â he moves back a little and storms the base again, turns around a little and clearly enters as itâs necessary. Many drivers could learn a thing or two from it!
DESIGN ERGONOMICS
Dust Canister
Without a vacuum cleaner installed, the vacuum cleaner wonât turn on and wonât work. The canister is easy to remove and clean, but if it is too full, some of the dust may fall on the floor.
We advise to clean the container on a bedding newspaper or to use the hygienic way offered by the manufacturer: there is a hole on the top of the body to remove the dust. Using it, you can pull the dust out of the robotâs dust canister with an ordinary vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning brushes and other parts
The main brush often coils like the turbo brush on larger vacuum cleaners , so it must be cleaned regularly. Ideally, if you spend a few minutes on this after each cleaning.
Requires regular cleaning of dirt from the obstacle and cliff sensors, located on the bottom of the device â just wipe them. This is to ensure that the vacuum cleaner confidently oriented on the ground.
Filter Replacement/Cleaning
The filter and dust container are washable.
Extra convenience
The vacuum cleaner will never fall down the stairs or damage the furniture: thanks to sensors and the bumper, it is immune to such challenges.
