MATERIALS AND DESIGN

CONTROL

The model is equipped with a modern touch control system. The display is on the base, that’s where you set all the desired modes, the iron itself only has a steam button.

All symbols appear on the display for a few seconds when turned on, then i-Temp mode is automatically activated. Mode light blinks while iron is heating up, but stays on after heating up. No ready to work beep.

This appliance offers a variety of ironing modes. If you are used to trusting appliances 100%, the most popular will be i-Temp mode. The iron will then automatically select the right combination of temperature and amount of steam based on the type of fabric.

If you are a professional ironer and for some reason the automatic mode does not suit you, you can choose one of the “manual” settings: the temperature modes correspond to the standard ones and are shown on the display. Another important detail – the automatic shutdown mode. No more worrying about the possible iron not being switched off at home: if the steam release button has not been pressed for 8 minutes, the system switches off automatically.

PRIDING! The AntiShine function control is not clear. The manual states that “frequent pressing of the soleplate steam release button reduces the chance of the iron leaving shiny marks on the fabric for dark, delicate fabrics “. Frequent is how? I wish I had more specific instructions, but as it’s not clear if this feature is activated or not, if it works in automatic mode, or if I have to choose a specific temperature setting.

Although the water level is perfectly visible through the transparent walls of the water tank, the system also has a buzzer to tell keen housewives when it’s time to add liquid. Importantly, the water tank can be filled at any time during use of the device, it does not have to be turned off.

Interesting that the iron stand, located on the body of the system, is removable. You can easily take it out to put it on the surface of the ironing board, for example, and put the iron on it when ironing, if that’s more convenient for you.

The first time I checked the system, I noticed that the iron has a plastic “heel” on which it is easy to place it vertically. But the instructions say that the iron should not stand, it is imperative to place it only horizontally, on a special stand.

UPS! The iron must be placed on the stand, if it is placed on the base, starting from the nose, not the heel. The tip has to “dive” into the special hole. Not knowing that, I put the iron on the pad not very carefully, the spout went against the plastic on the body, and as a result, the plastic melted a little there. By the way, odorless and smoke-free, which is of course a good thing .

SPOUT

It only takes about 2 minutes to set up. That’s very fast – just like regular irons. When you turn it on for 10-15 seconds, you hear a noise water from the container goes into the boiler? , then the system is almost silent.

Note that the iron is a standard size, t.e. is the same as a standard ironer, so it can iron a lot of fabric at once.

Removable water container also adds to the comfort of the steam generator.

It is worth mentioning that the steam generator is always ready for use, like a pioneer: 2 minutes – and you can iron with any amount of steam.

In general, the manufacturers have tried and equipped the system to the maximum.

What I did not like: just the fact that the iron with a hot spout caught and burned the plastic base. After that, I had to be more attentive to the procedure of placing it on the site, and I want to avoid any possible mishaps.
