By the way, the production of this model was folded just recently.

Beyerdynamic T70 headphones

Good sound in a “closed” format

The Beyerdynamic T70 headphones are one of the company’s “youngest” models. How it is interesting? First of all, because it is one of the few “closed” headphones with such an impressive price tag. And the respectability of the brand allows us to have certain expectations of the T70.

Ergonomics

The Beyerdynamic T70 presses against the listener’s head with sufficient force, but does not exert excessive pressure. Headphone cushions are made of velour, they are not very deep, but soft and tactile pleasant.

On the whole, the Beyerdynamic T70 ergonomics does not cause much delight, but it does not give any reasons for criticism either. The headphones are simple, comfortable in a good way.

The sound

The sound of Beyerdynamic T70 has a pronounced tendency towards brightness, airiness and an artificial forcing of small details in soundtracks. Bass and midrange in these headphones are well coordinated with each other in quantity and, in fact, do not have any taste, as well as frequent problems with closed-type headphones – humming, muttering, squeezing and so on. d. But in the high-frequency range there is a very noticeable ascend of frequency response.

Unlike Alessandro Music Series Two and Audio-Technica ATH-W1000X, where treble frequencies are elevated, but very accurately – so that the effect of airiness and the illusion of increased detail, but at the same time in the sound was not too sharp, Beyerdynamic T70 lack of sharpness can not boast, and their sharpness is not always falls on the court.

It can brighten up the sound of some tracks, making it more upbeat and energetic. But in other cases, too much harshness can become a cause of rapid fatigue and even be annoying while listening to some very “bright” recordings

But, of course, the sharpness of Beyerdynamic T70 is accompanied by “traditional” pleasant “bonuses”: the same effects, airiness and increased detail that are in the sound of headphones from Alessandro and Audio-Technica. Moreover, in Beyerdynamic T70 these effects are much more pronounced – small high-frequency details of phonograms – various squeaks, rustles, etc. d. – you can hear in them more clearly, the air in the sound as if there is more. – Perhaps it is because of these features that the Beyerdynamic T70 will be loved by some listeners.

To all of the above it is worth adding that Beyerdynamic T70 have, though not the best, but very good for its class, resolution. They provide enough intelligibility for complex, fast and instrument-laden compositions that make the listener hear the full range of tones in every note they play with clarity and precision.

The Beyerdynamic T70 headphones offer exceptional sound quality with a balanced and detailed sound signature. They provide clear highs, punchy mids, and tight bass, making them suitable for a wide range of genres. In terms of comfort, they feature plush earpads and an adjustable headband, ensuring extended listening sessions without discomfort.

Compared to other high-end headphone models, the T70s hold their ground with their precise and accurate sound reproduction. However, they may lack a bit of bass impact compared to some competitors. In terms of value for money, they are priced competitively for the performance they offer, although there are other options available with similar sound quality at a lower price. Overall, if you prioritize sound accuracy and comfort, the Beyerdynamic T70 headphones are a solid choice.
