Test integrated amplifiers: poweusaul peusaormers

The test was carried out with Nordost Blue Heaven interconnect and acoustic cables, Bow Technologies ZZ-8 reference CD player, Yamaha CD-S2000 turntable and Dynaudio Excite X32 speakers.

Several integrated amplifiers from different manufacturers took part in the group test. The price range of the amplifiers is quite big: from about 20 to 80 thousand roubles. Different are the manufacturers approaches to equipping their devices, some make their amplifiers maximally functional, without forgetting about either phono-corrector board, plenty of inputs and outputs for playback and recording sources, or about the timbre-block. Others forgo the “frills” by investing in the development of the original amplifier circuit and higher quality components. There were those, who tried to combine both approaches and find the “golden mean”. In general each amplifier in the test has its own relative strengths and weaknesses, and the choice, as always, is up to the Buyer.

In the test of integrated amplifiers we used Nordost Blue Heaven interconnect and acoustic cables, Bow Technologies ZZ-8 reference CD player, Yamaha CD-S2000 player and Dynaudio Excite X32 speakers.

The editorial staff of Video&Audio magazine would like to thank companies Audiomania, Alef and Absolute Audio for the help in making this test
